This pop-up activates when users conduct a search through the Google app, but it is also functional from the search bar. Google diligently tracks user search queries, and with the Search Recall feature, it focuses solely on the most recent query. When users open the app or access the search bar, a rounded popup displays the last search query, providing a convenient reminder.
Users have the option to either accept the suggestion or dismiss it with a simple tap. The pop-up remains visible for a few seconds, ensuring it does not obstruct or hinder the user experience.
How to get the new feature and repeat the last query?
Currently, the Search Recall feature is only available in the beta version of the Google app. The pop-up for the search bar can be accessed directly from the Pixel Launcher’s home screen.
