Endless Forms Most Beautiful is a remake of the classic game of the same name for ZX Spectrum. It is a 2D platformer in which your goal is to guide your nice little protagonist through a series of labyrinths, rescuing all of the creatures that need your help. The mechanics are very simple. Your protagonist will start at the upper part of the scene and you have to descend down into different levels using the platforms that are set up to allow you to do so as you rescue all of the creatures and avoid the different enemies. It's not as easy as it sounds. You have to keep a lot of factors in mind. First of all, when you leave one of the levels on one side, you will appear at the extreme opposite side on the next level, and by doing so you can go up a level or down a level. In addition, when you collect some creatures, they will drop bombs that can kill you if you're not careful. Endless Forms Most Beautiful is a very entertaining platformer that has enchanting graphics, a very good soundtrack, and simple but completely addictive mechanics. In addition, you can play on your own or with other players.

Knytt is an independent 2D platformer where you play Knytt, a young girl who, one terrible day, is abducted by a space ship. She has such bad luck that while sailing through outer space, the ship has an accident and crashes on another planet. Your objective, once on this mysterious planet's surface, is to find your way back home. To accomplish this task, you can only rely on your impressive jumping and climbing skills, which let you pull off some moves rarely seen in this genre. This means that in Knytt, if you fall short on a jump, you normally won't die, since you'll be able to grab onto the wall and climb back up. That said, just because you can grab onto the wall, it doesn't mean Knytt is a piece of cake. The game's huge open world and elements of adventure and exploration make returning home more difficult than a few simple jumps. In fact, you're abilities will be put to the test. Knytt is a really entertaining platformer that, despite its outdated and simple graphics, offers a playing experience that's full of exciting moments (thanks especially to the story scenes) that graphic adventure fans will particularly enjoy.

That means that you have to be doubly careful, since both avatars can suffer damages. Gameplay is pretty simple, except for the part where you have to control two characters at the same time. You need to pick up all of the floating pixels on each level, avoiding the enemies that will try to finish you off while you do so. The main difficulty comes when you realize that the majority of the pixels you need to collect can only be acquired by one of your hero's two parts: his real self. And, each level only allows you to change between the two parts a limited number of times. Visually, Alter Ego is a very pretty game that uses a simple pixelated design with colorful levels and characters. The game, which usually lasts no more than an hour if you're moderately adept with the platforms, will take you through loads of danger-filled scenes where you have to dodge enemies and traps in equal measure while trying to make it to the adventure's end. The point of the game, as its name indicates, is to win. One of the most appealing things about You Have to Win the Game is obviously its graphics, which emulate the old-school titles down to including an antique monitor frame. Unlike an endless runner, though, each level in Sienna has an end, and if you do well, it won't be out of your reach. The only 'problem' is that although the game has nine levels that can theoretically be finished in a matter of minutes (if not seconds), the levels are very complicated, so it might take you a while to get through them. Typically this means jumping at exactly the right moment, because if you hit an obstacle, you'll return to the last checkpoint you reached. Sienna is a very challenging platform game. Although it can be extremely hard, you'll feel incredibly satisfied whenever you complete a level.
