Sqrxz requires fast reflexes and is a simply mindblasting Jump’n'Run puzzle game featuring 16 long and really difficult levels. The most entertaining thing about the game is its co-op mode where you play a friend on the same computer, although you can also play solo for an equally fun and even more difficult experience. Because just like in the Mega Man games from previous generations the level of difficulty is quite high. Each and every level will challenge your abilities, and if you're not fast on the keyboard you're bound to end up repeating the same phase over and over again. Wootman is a very fun title that it wouldn't be strange to see in the XboxLive store or App Store and costing a few dollars. Take advantage of this free version for PC and get it now. You won't regret it.

Blasterman vs. Yellowskull is an 'old school' platform game with pixelated graphics where our goal is to arrive in the end of dangerous levels. It's a a classic. We taste it. You only have to start playing it to realize that it is like all those old games you used to play. you have two buttons to use: jump and fire. Jump will be to jump between platforms and fire to finish all enemies. First levels are really easy, but it gets harder as long as you go further. Blasterman vs. Yellowskull is a very funny game thtat will remind you those old games and will keep you a good time hooked to the computer.

Cat Poke is a mix of an aventure and platformer in which you will have to control your character and tick off all of the cats in the house. Why? Because it's raining outside and there's nothing else better to do at home. The game's objective is to bother Molly's parents' nine cats. You'll need to run around and pick up all of the objects that are lying around the house. Climb to the top of the stairs for more height, place a can of food to lure one of the cats, or even carry a flashlight to move around in the dark. The game has truly captivating 16 bit visuals. The cats as well as Molly and her mother are perfectly constructed pixel by pixel. Also, the animations are well-designed. Cat Poke is a very amusing game that, unfortunately, is quite short. It's possible that you'll finish the whole game in no more than a half an hour. Nevertheless, give it a shot.

Tower of Heaven is a 2D platform game with the look of a Gameboy game whose levels are more and more difficult as long as we pass them. It's easy to play. Move the main character left or right and jump. However, as long as you overpass many levels, they get more difficult and you'll need to be careful and fast to finish them. The increasing difficulty is something that makes this game to be really addictive. Don't hesitate, give it a try. Tower of Heaven can give you many hours of fun.

Defy Gravity is, in the words of its developers, a mix between Super Mario Bros, Braid, and Portal in 2D. In reality when you start playing Defy Gravity you'll see it's not quite as good as any of those titles. But this doesn't mean that it's not entertaining or that it doesn't have a really fun gameplay. Your aim is to beat all the levels with the help of your gravitational weapon, which you can use to shoot a sort of vortex that lets you access otherwise unreachable places. The game's graphics are very detailed, complete with excellent pixel design and very beautiful settings in outer space. Defy Gravity is an ambitious title. Even if it’s not as good as the most legendary games on which it was inspired, it’s still an excellent indie game whose gamble has paid off.

I Must Run! is a platform game along the lines of Robot Unicorn Attack or Canabalt, where you have to flee prison as fast as you can while jumping from rooftop to rooftop. The game's controls are pretty simple: you can perform single jumps and double jumps (to get further or dodge falling obstacles), punch, and slide along the ground. With these three simple actions, you can overcome the dozens of different obstacles infesting each phase of the game. Now, if you want to reach the end of each level, you'll have to be very good, because a single error can really cost you. I Must Run! is a fun, original title with highly addictive gameplay. It's ideal for killing time.

It's easy to play: run, jump and avoid dangers and traps in your way to the end. Knight of Dulcinea is very funny and a good game for kids who will learn Geography at the same time they have fun.

Iconoclasts is a two-dimensional adventure that follows the classic design of 'Metroidvania'-style games, where you need to unlock new objects and places to advance through the adventure. The first thing that you'll notice about the game is its excellent graphic design, with fantastic characters (in fact, the author of the game is an illustrator) and a 16-bit aesthetic that will bring tears of nostalgia to the eyes of anyone who enjoyed Super Nintendo or Sega Megadrive back in the day. Once you're past the shock of first impressions, you'll find out that Iconoclasts is a really fun game, with parts that are pure platform mixed with wild action and crazy final bosses. Unfortunately, Iconoclasts is not yet finished, as its author has run out of funding (you can make donations through his website). Still, it's highly playable and enjoyable, even if just for a few hours.

Clastle is a fun platformer where you play a burglar who has to survive all the trials inside a castle converted into a huge deadly trap. The game's controls are very simple: you can move your character and jump with the cursor, but also interact with some elements of the scenario like blocks or doors. Additionally, at certain spots you can do double-jumps to get as far as possible. The full version features 10 levels that will put your skills to the test, having you compete against the clock and take on other difficult challenges. Clastle is a entertaining title that, despite being somewhat short, offers an interesting enough playability to make you want to play it again a couple times.

Wyv and Keep is a platform puzzle game where you'll need to help two peculiar treasure hunters collect all of the gold from each complicated level. To do that, you'll need to either control both characters by alternating between the two (the default way to do this is with the shift key) or by playing together with a friend on the same computer, each controlling one character. Only with the collaboration of both characters will you be able to solve all of the puzzles found in each level of the game. The object of each level is quite simple: open the exit door and pick up as much treasure as you can along the way. Wyv and Keep is a really fun game with a charmingly retro aesthetic, capable of keeping us entertained for hours whether alone or with a friend.

Takishawa is Dead is an entertaining platform game that will keep you hooked for a long time thanks to its awesome graphics and complicated gameplay.

Arvoesine is a platform game in two dimensions in which we have to lead a Roman legion through a number of levels as we confront different dangers. These threats will appear as different kinds of enemies (small blue creatures, plants and killer birds) or traps. Luckily your character has a life bar that will allow you to survive even the most hazardous situations. The artistic graphics seen in this game were inspired by the first Nintendo video game desktop, and even at low load of pixels, they are quite beautiful. Arvoesine is entertaining and short, and its five levels will give you a way to pass the time. Given this, it must be said that it is quite difficult.

Boondog is a platform puzzle game where you control an intrepid young man who needs to get through dozens and dozens of levels by jumping, hanging, moving objects, activating switches, and, basically, avoiding danger. The game's controls are simple, but completing a short tutorial is helpful if you want to master them. Jumping from platform to platform is a little different than you'd expect if you've played similar games, and a bad fall here is typically mortal. The game has a really impressive number of levels, which means you can play for hours and hours without stop. And, the creator's website includes a pack with additional challenges - or you can create your own with the included editor. Boondog is an entertaining game that hides the spirit of a true puzzle game under the mask of a traditional platformer.

It presents you with a serious of short, complicated levels that you'll have to beat in as little time as possible. Getting to the end of a level is typically pretty easy. The problem lies in rescuing your hero's five friends along the way, as they've been scattered around each level. Helping them while dodging dangerous obstacles is a true challenge. The game has two different playing modes: arcade, in which you have to beat fifty levels, and survival, where you have to survive as long as possible while rescuing your friends and avoiding enemy capture. Mechanic Infantry is a fun game that, although it may occasionally be too difficult, pays you back in satisfaction after completing each level. And graphically, it's an absolute delight.

Dustforce is an independent platform game where you have to drive to one of four sweepers in order to overcome a diabolical series of stages that will test your skill and patience. The game's level design quite reminiscent to that seen in Super Meat Boy, with spikes everywhere and deadly traps that could end the life of our street sweeper in an instant. Luckily, you had several aces up his sleeve. Our character can make the classic double jump, fast slipping on floors and walls and ceilings, and even hit with the broom. This last action is especially important because if you destroy an object while in the air, you can make an additional hop. Dustforce is a fun game that will appeal to anyone looking for challenges. Also, visually it is a true workhorse, with outstanding visuals.

La Mulana is a platform game designed to have the aspect and the sound of a classic MSX. Its principal influence is 'The Maze of Galious', one of the great ones of the era. Your small character can do various actions throughout the adventure, like jumping from one side to another (essential), climb ladders, avoid traps and, above all, use its whip (although there are more arms and objects) to defend itself against any type of enemy. The game is quite long and is made up of many open zones you will have to explore to find all the relics and objects, something that can take you more than twenty hours in total. La Mulana is a great retro game that, for major delight, is completely free. At just one click away you have more than twenty hours of fun for free!

At first blush, Trail seems like a simple platformer where you climb over walls and jump between surfaces, trying to get to the end and, inevitably, see your character die. But here's the twist: the level is generated randomly as you play it. Your previous memories drop off behind you as you go, and they can even harm you if you touch them. Then, once you die, you have to retrace your steps, gathering all the memories you've left behind. When you reach the starting point (or fail to do so), the game shows the age of your character and how fulfilling his life was (according to your score). Trail is a game with a perfectly smooth gameplay. If you give it time, it may even give you some inspiration for your own life.

Stealth Bastard is a platform game half way between Super Meat Boy and Trilby: The Art of Theft, in which we will have to overcome a series of levels using stealth and ability. The game is made up of twenty-eight levels full of traps and dangers in which we will have to crouch, jump, hold on to ledges, dodge laser traps and avoid being seen by cameras and active switches. All this in the least possible time knowing that our times will compete with those of other users around the world. The graphic section is, like in the above mentioned games, very simple. But the lighting effects are very well done and help to create an ideal atmosphere to play. Stealth Bastard is a very entertaining platform game, which will be very much liked by lovers of challenge. The online `leader-boards’ give it a great competition touch.

Epacse is a platformer where you have to use your power of manipulating particles to escape the place you start the game being trapped inside. The game controls are pretty simple. Use the keyboard to move your character left or right, and jump with the arrow keys. With the mouse you can push and move any pile of particles you see lying around. Using your ability to move small elements from one side to another, you have to solve almost all the puzzles you find throughout your short adventure, which lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. This short duration explains why the game doesn't have a save feature. This might turn off some players but it doesn't really make any difference as long as you have a good amount of time to play. Epacse is a fun and original platformer with some rather simple retro graphics but a gameplay that's worth trying out.

Friends 'Til the End is a platformer born of the following idea: 'You play a boy whose remote control helicopter is alive and your friend, then you discover a nuclear missile inside it.' This absurd premise hides a game where you are constantly controlling a boy and his helicopter simultaneously. On the one hand, you'll have to walk and jump over holes in the ground with the boy while on the other you fly the helicopter, dodging all the buildings. This gameplay demands very skilled and consistent coordination from you, since if the boy gets too far away from his helicopter the intensity of the remote control signal will become weaker and it'll start to fall ... causing a nuclear explosion that will destroy the entire city and, obviously, kill the boy. Friends 'Til the End is a very entertaining and curious indie game that, even if it doesn't last long (it's very short), does let you experience something different.

Jade Phoenix is a platform adventure game where you will play as either Patjade or Wendy, two mayors of a small town that has been hypnotized by someone, or something. Taking advantage of the situation, tons of creatures have invaded the town. Your objective is to progress through different phases of the game while killing your enemies and recovering as many gems as possible. As you advance, you'll get closer to figuring out what's at the bottom of all this trouble. The game's controls are very traditional: there is a jump button and an attack button. The jump button will help you get from platform to platform, but you can also use it to slide along the ground to hit enemies. Using the attack button will launch arrows from the bow that your character carries. The game has retro graphics that will remind you of Super Nintendo and Megadrive games. The overall aesthetic is a little childish, but it meshes well with the storyline. Jade Phoenix is an entertaining, free platform game. It may be a little short, but it offers a good helping of fun.

Find Me a Good One is an adventure platformer set in a surrealist world where you play with a little spider that has to find its way through a place filled with strange beings that haunt its dreams. The gameplay is really simple: you jump with the Z key, talk and open doors with X, and quickly visit your room with V. Once you learn these basic controls, you can start your odyssey. Throughout the game you come across very strange characters and situations, such as a nice talking dog with wings, or an area with heads over which you can jump as if they were trampolines. The goal is to find out why you're there in the first place. Find Me a Good One is a very odd game featuring some of the strangest graphics you can find and a soundtrack that might as well be a lullaby. It's also really fun.
