Cloud is a game of exploration with some simple puzzles mixed in. It has been created by thatgamecompany, developers of titles like Journey and Flower. In it, you control a small child with two very special skills: flying and interacting with the clouds. The game consists of several levels in which you have to fly through the sky while interacting with clouds. In the first level, for example, the mission is to bring a particularly bright cloud together with other clouds to create a larger cloud. In another level, however, you have to take many smaller clouds and create different shapes in the sky with them. The gameplay, in any case, generally asks you to fly through the sky and move the clouds from side to side. Visually, Cloud is a very nice title, which has thatgamecompany´s finger prints all over it. While not as spectacular as Flower or Journey, it does have some outstanding graphics. Cloud is an entertaining title that tries to get closer to the concept of interactive experience than create a traditional video game.

Edmund is an interactive story in 2D in which you control Edmund, a mysterious character who, after getting in a cab and stopping near a bus stop, assaults an unknown woman. This game tries to go deep in the mind of a serial rapist, going all the way back to the Vietnam War. You can play during the war, too, and find out what exactly happened there. Because of the theme, the gaming experience is naturally pretty heavy and might be offensive to some people, so it's not recommended for everyone. Besides the theme, Edmund has a simple 2D gameplay. You can jump (which is necessary) and shoot a gun (which is only occasionally necessary). Edmund is a strange adventure. Beneath the gloomy graphics, there's a strong adult story that is rarely explored in the world of video games. It's a unique experience for sure.

The legendary game Sokoban, in which you push boxes to their proper places, has found a satisfying continuation brought to you by the same bright minds: BrainSport Extreme. BrainSport Extreme has 100 levels, all of which are extremely difficult. To play, you'll have to move boxes just like in Sokoban, only now you can only move them forward or sideways, but never backwards. The squares where you want to put the boxes are marked with a clover, and those you have to move are marked with a red X. Once the box is in the right place, it turns green - but don't be fooled, since one box can have more than one correct placement. If a level is too difficult, you can change the level so long as you've earned enough coins from solving other puzzles. BrainSport Extreme is one of the most challenging puzzle games you can play. No installation is needed, so to save your game, just open it from the same PC to continue from where you left off.

Chaser is a short gaming experience where you play a green character lost in the middle of space. On the screen, you see just your little green protagonist and another blue character to his right that runs away from you when you try to get closer. The controls in Chaser are simple: use the arrow keys to move your character, keeping in mind that the longer you run in one direction, the faster you'll go. The faster you go, the more points you get. That said, if you run into any of the obstacles that appear along the way, you'll lose all your points. It won't take long to discover that the faster your little green guy runs, the faster the blue one runs, too, making it impossible to catch up to him. Therefore, the key to the game lies in thinking about the situation from a different perspective. What if the person you're chasing is not YOUR person? Chaser is a fantastic gaming experience that can be finished in just five minutes and will make you reflect on greater things. The game's music is also excellent.

And Then There Was One is an unusual stealth game in that the players have to kill a series of targets within a crowd, where the targets can blend in to go undetected. You can play And Then There Was One alone, or with up to four other players on the same computer. The last option is what's recommended. The reason is because your character can die just as easily as the rest of the characters on the scene, so you have to be very careful of the other players. The objective of each level, in any case, is to get rid of all of the targets and be the last assassin standing. To do this, you have to run through the scene, attacking people, and even faking your own death so that you can't be killed. And Then There Was One is a very fun game that can be hilarious when played with others. The only 'downside' is that you need as many Xbox 360 remotes as players who want to participate.

Probably Archery is a first-person archery game that, instead of employing a shooting system typical of its genre, opts for a style that is much more similar to titles like QWOP and Surgeon Simulator. The hardest part about playing Probably Archery is figuring out its complicated control system, although luckily you have the option to leave a cheat-sheet of instructions stuck to one corner of your screen. And that's a relief, seeing as how you'll need to master up to six different key combinations to be able to fully manipulate your arms and fit your arrow into place. Like Surgeon Simulator, Probably Archery is a very difficult-to-control game, and so skillful control will be your main objective. Watching how your avatar erratically moves its arms can be pretty funny... especially if you just end up sending your arrow straight into the ground. Probaby Archery is a fun game that, despite being made in just one week, includes some outstanding graphics, original controls, and playing modes for one or two players.

Everything may seem normal, but you'll soon find out that this relationship has problems. Not only does the wife yell at you and insult you if you walk in front of the TV, but she will throw dinner in your face if you've made it poorly. Worst of all, some parts of the house cause you to relive bad moments from the past, like the time you caught her cheating on you. When you reach that memory, your character takes his pistol from the nightstand and decides to return to the living room where his wife is watching TV. A Good Husband is a peculiar interactive experience that perhaps needs a little more freedom built into it. It's still interesting, but could definitely benefit from additional content.

That's up to you to find out. The mechanics of this 'game' are quite simple: you control the fly with your arrow keys and nothing more. So, pressing the up arrow will make the fly go upwards, and with the left and right arrows you can change its direction. It's that easy. The game can be played pretty easily. Except for a moment in which your fly may be caught in a spiderweb, The Plan doesn't demand any great level of skill. All you need is the determination to keep playing and discovering the unknown world of the fly. As you advance through the game, you'll discover wonderful places. In the beginning, it's just brush and trees, but as you continue upwards, you'll arrive to the sky and even see the famous Pillars of Creation. The Plan is an introspective, interactive experience that will inspire some questions in its players, and perhaps some answers as well. Dark, beautiful graphics and a solid soundtrack combine to captivate the player.

Remember Frogger? That game where you played a frog who had to cross a highway full of cars? Well, now you can play something similar with a Christmas twist. You still control a frog but now your aim is to try to get to the gifts found at the top of the screen. To get them, you'll have to cross an increasingly busy road, and that done, you'll then have to cross a river by hopping from rock to rock and dodging flying gifts. Once you make it to the shore, you just have to head towards the gifts to continue to the next level. Sounds easy, right? The first levels are pretty easy, actually, but as you progress the traffic gets worse and the number of flying gifts increases, making the game more and more difficult. This is a very addictive game with a great Christmas theme, including a special Yuletide frog and a holiday-themed objective, as well. For all these reasons, and because it's free, Christmas Super Frog is highly recommended.

The graphic engine of Doom was set as Open Source. That decision was taken by idSoftware because they wanted to offer all Doom lovers the possibility to create their own version of the game. Own version? yes, because it's just the graphic engine that is free, not the content itself. It means that you need a file called IWAD to play the game. Those IWAD files contain the music, graphics, sounds, enemies, weapons and more. Risen3D is a version of Doom that takes advantage of OpenGL technology to render the graphics. It can generate particle effects, models and high quality textures even better than the original ones seen in Doom. FreeDoom is a version of Doom you can play by using Risen3D, because they need each other: Risen3D is the graphic engine that supports all the power of FreeDoom and other similar games. Finally, configure lots of aspects of the game: mode, resolution, 3D sound, filters, skill and more.

The release of the Doom engine as free software by its creator, idSoftware, has allowed independent developers to create a parallel version that respects the essence of this classic video game. However, Doom’s engine is useless on its own; in order to play, you need a resource file called IWAD that contains all of the game’s data: textures, graphics, sounds, music, enemies, etc. The purpose of FreeDoom is to build a resource file from scratch that stores a completely new game. FreeDoom consists of 32 scenes and three difficulty levels, all completely original resources that don’t violate the rights of the author of the original game. However, FreeDoom is only an IWAD file, which means you need an interpreter to run the game such as Zandronum or PrBoom.
