This version of Vive le Football is, as NetEase has been doing with many of its releases, a direct emulation of the Android one, but optimized for Windows. This means the game has the exact same graphics as the mobile version, but with better resolution and performance. Likewise, the controls are perfectly adapted to use a keyboard: with the arrow keys, you'll control your player and with the keys A, S, W and D you can sprint, pass, center, and shoot the ball. The first thing you can do when you start playing Vive le Football, is choose the look of your 'manager.' This is your character, who you can move directly through your club's facilities and will always be on the sidelines directing the games. Once you have your coach, you just have to choose what league and club you want to start out with. This choice is very important, since the first matches will be played with the team you choose. One of the best things about Vive le Football is the great variety of game modes it offers. In addition to the classic tournaments, you can enjoy a great story mode where you'll get to relive certain matches that require you to complete specific objectives. For example, in one of them, you'll have to try to make a comeback in a game where your team is losing at 80 minutes into the game. Vive le Football is NetEase's latest big venture in the world of soccer games. We're talking about a title with a direct and fun gameplay, great graphics and official licenses. At the beginning of the adventure, you emerge from your nuclear shelter and find yourself in a devastated world where mutant zombies will be the least of your problems. It's not just that there are more dangerous creatures in the world, but also that you will face more immediate problems like hunger and exhaustion. The gameplay for Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead can vary a lot depending on the type of characters you create and the circumstances that arise during the adventure (random or user-selected). You can try to go to the forest and live far away from all of these problems... or go to town to try to find supplies... or even construct a fortress to protect you from attackers. Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead is a wonderful, gigantic role-playing game, whose complexity leaves many other similar games in the dust. The only problem is that, just like with many other 'roguelike' gmaes, the graphics are very basic and are made up entirely of ASCII characters. If you can get past this setback, you will find yourself in front of an almost never-ending game.

Each setting will propose a series of previous objectives that you will have to accomplish by performing physical actions with your virtual controls. Only one level located in a small supermarket is included in the game demo. Before waiting in line, you will have to fill your shopping cart by walking through the different aisles. Once you are staying at the checkout, you can speed up the wait by throwing food to other people or, in some instances, fulfilling requests that they ask you, and that could be related to interaction with other elements of the setting. Line Simulator is a liberating VR game that will let you get carried away with some of your darkest instincts when it comes to getting revenge on that older man who cut in front of you at the store.

Nethack is a roguelike where you have to delve deep into a randomly generated dungeon to find Yendor's amulet, which can grant your hero immortality. Achieving this is not easy, though. The dungeons are always randomly generated, always different, and feature 50 different levels. Each of these levels includes lots of enemies and traps that can kill your character, and when this happens it's game over – no reloading the game, no reviving the hero. When creating your character you can choose from many different classes, like the warrior, barbarian, mage, thief, or monk; and you can also choose the race, gender, and name. On the other hand, if you don't want to worry about any of that, you can generate a random character. It will probably die soon anyway.... Nethack didn't originally have a graphic environment, and was played exclusively with a text interface. Currently, though, you can activate pretty rudimentary graphics, which at least makes the game a little more accessible. Nethack is a difficult game, possibly one of the most difficult games in history. Getting all the commands you can give the character right is already a challenge in itself. But getting to level 50 alive is an almost impossible goal.

Mari0 is a platform game that combines the scenarios, characters and general playability of the classic Super Mario Bros with the revolutionary mechanics of the not-so-classic Portal. Thus, the player controls Mario through all of the levels of the legendary Super Mario Bros with the small addition that throughout the entire course of the game they can employ the famous "portal gun" to create portals in any part of the scenario. With these portals, the player is able to do things from throwing enemies out of the level to skipping ahead in the game, being that the physics are perfectly recreated. Before starting the game, of course, you can configure many different options. First, in an awesome wink to Team Fortress 2, you can put any of more than thirty available hats on Mario. Next, you can choose the colors of both Mario's clothing and the portals that he generates. This character personalization will come especially in handy when it comes to playing multiplayer with friends, as the game allows up to four Marios to launch portals in the same game at the same time. As if the large quantity of levels and options that the multiplayer game offers weren't enough, Mari0 includes a level editor that you can use to create your own levels, and what's even better is the ease of playing with those that have been created by others. Mari0 is a fantastic game, a brilliant platformer that becomes even more fun when played with friends. What's more, it takes up less than five megs and is completely free. What more can you ask for?

Brutal Doom is a mod for the original Doom that, after three years of intense development, now offers a much bloodier and more refined experience (especially with regard to the shooting mechanism) compared to the normal game. You'll notice the increased goriness of Doom not just in the increased blood splatters on the walls and the bodies of enemies, but also in the new options that allow you to shoot people in the head or tear your enemies apart with bullets. Also, almost all of your opponents will now have completely new death animations. Doom's normal shooting system, which didn't use the mouse by default, has been updated so that it does. Although the best part is that the weapons have been completely remodeled so that no one weapon is significantly better than the others. For example, the sawed-off shotgun is your best choice at short range, while the machine gun will prove to be your best friend against big groups of enemies. Brutal Doom is one of the best Doom mods out there because it allows you to enjoy all the levels of the original titles, with a bloodier and more entertaining facelift that also looks much better.

You can create (or download) any character, add the basic or special moves that you want, and pick its sounds, the way it celebrates, everything about it. You just have to invest a little time in it and you can create your own, definitive Tekken, Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive. EF-12: Creator's Edition might be interesting for both habitual players and for modders and creators. The former won't have to do anything more than download characters and add them to the game in order to start having fun, while the latter will have everything they need to create the definitive fighting game at their fingertips.
