The advantage is that you can activate night vision at any time to see the action more clearly. Rec: Shutter's objective is to explore the building and get out alive. However, that's easier said than done due to the paranormal presences that you'll face. Just by seeing one of these creatures will scare your character and make him move more erratically. If it gets close to you, it'll most likely kill you. REC: Shutter is a horrifying adventure which requires stealth. Shooting, using weapons, and fighting are strictly optional. Just by running and hiding will create exactly the desired scary sensations that the game was meant to deliver.

Dungeon Colony is a strategy game in real time where you take on the role of the Dungeon Lord, who has to try to explore the nearby caverns with the help of his loyal minions and, over all, save his dungeon from destruction. The game mechanics are relatively similar to those of Dungeon Keeper. The only difference is that, instead of controlling an omnipresent being, you can only control your demonic lord directly. Other than that, it's quite similar: your troops can carry out tasks such as setting traps, mining resources or attacking enemies, and they will receive a wage for doing so. You, on the other hand, can create all kinds of elements, as long as you use the appropriate materials and diagrams to do so. You can create things that range from torches to traps, including doors or shelves of books to teach your creatures. Dungeon Colony is an excellent strategy game with complex and very fun mechanics, as well as very nice graphics. In the end, it's like a modern version of Dungeon Keeper with some extra splashes of action.

Although combats are the main feature in Rolplay, many other elements are important as well. Creating a bad deck will result in bad duels, so it's always a good idea to take a second look at yours. To get new cards you just have to buy new packs (with virtual money, not real money) on the game store. Besides, in contrast to other games, they are pretty affordable. Rolplay also includes, as the name indicates, role playing elements. You character can earn experience as you win battles, and improve different attributes, such as life and speed. Berserker Quest: VI lets you play in co-op mode with up to three friends, forming groups of adventurers that you can enter dungeons with to kill your enemies. That said, you'll have to be very careful because your character's death is permanent. The real-time combat system is very intuitive: left-click with the mouse to attack with your sword, and right-click to block with your shield. Berserker Quest: VI is an excellent RPG with touches of action that, despite its sloppy graphics, offers a solid number of entertaining hours. The best part: you can play both by yourself or in co-op mode.

Repong is a remake of the classic Pong that comes with a good handful of new features, as well as excellent upgraded graphics that, while remaining relatively faithful to the original, are full of lights, explosions, and particle effects. Repong has three different game modes: normal, where you play Pong with random power-ups; crazy ball mode, where the ball moves erratically around the level; and survival mode, where you play a game up to 50 points. The power-ups that appear at random while you play include ones like a double ball, with the obvious complications that entails, or another that shuts off the lights momentarily, forcing you to play in the dark for a few seconds. In addition to these changes in playability, you can play Repong alone or in multiplayer mode against a friend, either online or over a local network. Repong is an excellent remake of the classic game that after all these years remains as fun as ever. And the new graphics go a long way to ensuring younger players will give it a shot.

Wake is a platformer where you play a little engineer trapped below deck on a huge boat that's going under. Your objective, as you might have guessed, is to get up to the deck and escape death. During your long escape you have to get through dozens of different rooms that are sure to put your abilities with the keyboard to the test. And the water won’t be your only enemy: you'll find deadly bullets and fire to dodge, too. Wake is quite Internet-based, as in addition to the 18 achievements you can unlock the game also includes a leaderboard where you can compare your scores to those of other players from around the world. Wake is an excellent indie platformer (created by a developer comprised of only two people) that nostalgic gamers are sure to love.

Lines 2 is an Adobe Air based game where we have to allign balls of the same color to win points. It's easy to play, you move one ball per turn, and each time you move one ball a new one appears. The goal is to put 5 balls of the same color together to make them disappear. If the table is full and you can't move any ball, you lose. You can change the size of the table and the number of balls you have to put together to make them disappear in order to change the difficulty of the game. Lines 2 is a funny game to enjoy yourself or for your children.

If we put appart the graphics, we find that Donkey Kong Remake is the same game we used to play two decades ago. Very addictive. Four different levels, each one representing 25 meters, and your goal is to reach the top, defeat Donkey Kong and rescue the girl. Of course, in our way to the top of the scale, we'll have to jump the barrels thrown by the giant monkey. OK, it's not a new game, but with new graphics, we can remember long afternoons andnights playing this Nintendo classic and show young people that old classics never die. Donkey Kong Remake is a must have for any gamer out there.
