Take My Hand is an exclusively cooperative 2D platformer (it supports two Xbox 360 controllers simultaneously) where you have to run at top speed through a series of settings that are crumbling beneath you. The game features lots of elements that enhance the cooperative aspect; for instance, in order to get to certain platforms sometimes one player needs to help the other reach it. Take My Hand is not your average platformer; it has a lot of parkour-style elements that have more in common with Mirror's Edge than Super Mario. For example, you can run on top of billboards, or jump from one wall to the other. All of this, though, as a couple. Visually, Take My Hand is a really special game. Although the character models are not totally spectacular, its visual style is still really colorful and refined. Take My Hand is a unique platformer that everyone should try playing with a friend. One of the best cooperative platformers you can find on PC.

Cuboid Sandbox is an open game that, although might entail some strategy, doesn’t really require any skill in particular. Quite basically, your part in the game is that of a demiurge (a god), or an entity that sets things in motion without directly acting upon them. So basically on Cuboid Sandbox you'll have three types of cubes (living organisms): red, yellow, and blue. At the beginning of the game you'll see them establish themselves into small colonies and then, depending on a few key decision you make, you'll be able to make them go to war... or have one cube race become the dominant one, or make them all avoid each other and stay in their own respective areas. Cuboid Sandbox also has amazing graphics, because even though the design is very minimalistic and is basically made up of cubes, it is still very pleasing to see. Cuboid Sandbox is a peculiar little game in which players, more than asked to overcome a challenge, are treated to a visual simulation show that unfolds before them. In fact, the game doesn’t have any challenges in and of itself, but rather, it is the player that must make his own challenges and goals.

Haymaker is a 2D fighting game where you can choose between four different characters to let loose in a series of levels set in the United States in the 50s. Each of the playable characters in Haymaker has their own hits and special attacks. Learning those moves isn't that difficult, since to perform a super attack you only need to push one button (the right trigger on a Xbox 360 controller). As in most fighting games, Haymaker gives you the option of playing against the computer, which is quite difficult, or against a friend using the same computer. Luckily, Haymaker is totally compatible with Xbox 360 controllers, so it's not a problem to connect two players to the same machine. Haymaker is a 2D fighting game that, even if it's not especially entertaining, does have some outstanding graphics. The main problem with Haymaker is that it has very few characters and moves, but it makes up for that with some great visuals that you're sure to enjoy.

Dark Disciples I is a traditional RPG that takes the form of an epic tale set in a medieval fantasy world. In the game, you'll play a young man whose father has committed suicide, leaving behind a huge amount of debt. The only way to escape this debt is to leave the city and start your own adventure. Before you begin, you can make a character of either sex and choose different skills and attributes, which will determine to a certain degree how you'll face different challenges. Although Dark Disciples I is a traditional RPG and has a complex turn-based combat system, the main focus is on solving puzzles, interacting with the setting, and talking to other characters. That means that although physical attributes are important, it's not so much which sword you have in your hand that matters but what you do before you draw it. Dark Disciples I is a different kind of RPG. Though the graphics are a bit sloppy, it offers a great story with memorable challenges.

Unlike other similar games, RuneScape doesn't include any important missions or stories to lead you through the game. So it's up to you to explore this enormous world where you can do whatever you want, including killing monsters to get coins, trading with other players, and improving skills with practice, such as fishing, crafting, metalworking, gardening, and hunting. RuneScape is an important part of this genre's history. It's an epic game with an enormous medieval fantasy world that fully immerses you in whatever you're doing. That said, it doesn't have the best graphics ever, although they still have a certain charm to them.

Use vehicles to go faster, there are more than 100 different ones (boats, motorbikes, helicopters, planes, cars, trucks, etc.) Just Cause 2 is an amazing action and adventures game. It will take you lots of hours to finish it, it's really funny due to the lot of action packed within it. You'll enjoy it for sure.

One of the most interesting things about Desura is the possibility of buying video games during their development, in what is known as 'alphafunding'. This way, you can support independent developers so they can get their projects finished. Desura is growing more and more and is fast becoming a viable alternative to the larger platforms. Needless to say, if you are interested in independent video games, you really shouldn't miss this.

Script Hook RDR2 is a tool that allows you to run scripts and all kinds of modifications in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). To install it, copy the ScriptHookV.dll file into the main game folder, where the RDR2.exe file is located. After that, you will need an ASI Loader to load the plugins. In the ZIP file there is one there already, called dinput8.dll. Now, you can run scripts in .asi format. To test if it works, open the game and press the F4 key. If the menu appears, then everything has been activated correctly. The menu is controlled with the numeric keypad of the keyboard (NUMPAD). The keyboard keys 2, 4, 6 and 8 can be used to navigate through the menus. With 5 you select the trainer you want to use. To go back from the menu, press 0, Backspace or F4 again. Script Hook RDR2 does not work with Red Dead Online, as all custom scripts are disabled as soon as it detects that you are connecting to online mode. Therefore, you will not be banned if you use this mod in your normal RDR2 installation. This Precious Land is a puzzle game with mechanics that are very similar to those of the excellent Triple Town, where you have to place different tiles of landscape in order to create a wonderful world, bit by bit. So, you have to place two of the same type of tile next to each other in order to make something better. For example, if you put two grass tiles next to each other, you'll create woodland, and if you put two woodlands next to each other, you'll have a forest of trees, and so on. One big difference between this game and the mechanics of Triple Town is that in This Precious Land you can harvest the tiles that you create. When you do so, you'll get two kinds of resources, and with those resources you can create new tiles that are different from the basic grass tiles. This Precious Land doesn't have great graphics, but it doesn't really need to. The game uses simple pixelated graphics that don't interfere at all with the simple and extremely addictive mechanics. In addition, it has an enchanting retro feel to it. This Precious Land is a brilliant puzzle game with original and fun mechanics that can keep you entertained for hours. Even though this game is completely free, it's one of those games that could cost an arm and a leg and still be worth it.

Remaddening is a very peculiar 2D 'endless runner' where players face endless levels that are randomly generated as you overcome the various obstacles. The game has three difficulty modes and as you progress each level will generate accordingly with more or fewer obstacles. On the easiest level, you just find spikes and other traps, while in the most difficult ... you'll be lucky to last more than a few seconds. Among the configuration options, players can activate the ability to create levels where you can't go backwards, or scenes that rotate nonstop independently of your movements. In addition, you can change the color palette however you like, to add even more variety to the game. Remaddening is one of the most original and entertaining 'endless runner' games on PC. Furthermore, although it has a very simple graphics, all its elements together make it a strangely beautiful game.

DevilutionX is an interpretation of Diablo that lets you enjoy one of the parents of modern RPGs with some very interesting improvements on the original release. The only thing you have to do is copy the DIABDAT.MPQ file that can normally be found in the original Diablo installation folder to the /data/org.diasurgical.devilutionx/files folder. And that's it. The process will be finished in just a couple of minutes. What happens if you don't have a legal copy of Diablo? Well, you can always play the shareware version of the game, which can be downloaded from many different sources. In the Diablo demo, you can't talk with the residents in Tristram or progress further than the third level, where you will inevitably meet the Butcher. This isn't the complete experience, of course. But it does give you a little taste of what the game has to offer. Among the upgrades that DevilutionX offers, with regards to the original Diablo, there is a significant increase in resolution, as well as support for several mods that you can find on the official website. With these mods, you can enjoy better lighting and you can even play online with up to 16 other players. DevilutionX is an excellent way to enjoy the parent of modern action RPGs on the latest computer generations. Despite how old it is, the game still offers one of the most polished experiences in the genre. What's more, unlike other games, with its durable gaming system and lovely visuals (that can be made even better), it is still a very accessible game.

7 Days is a first-person horror adventure game in which you play a character who wakes up in a mysterious room and discovers he is locked inside a house full of doors, most of them locked. The aim of the adventure is to stay alive for a full 7 days in the house, which, as quickly becomes clear, will not be easy due to the presence of a strange and bodiless creature. Accordingly, one of your missions is to find out just what the hell happened in that house. You must carefully go round the house, finding any clues that may be tucked away here and there. Pools of blood, paintings, books... there are many things in the house to put you on the trail of what exactly happened. In any case, the game largely revolves around collecting keys. Most doors in the house are locked, and opening them will require keys, which are hidden everywhere: pots, books, etc.. 7 Days is a horror adventure that can really give you more frights than you might expect. One of those games that make even the bravest jump out of their seats.

Voxelstein 3D is a first-person action game inspired on the classic Wolfenstein 3D, but with the pixelated graphics of the original upgraded to graphics made entirely of voxels. This change, which at first seems merely aesthetic, turns out to be very significant when you realize that any surface in Voxelstein 3D can be broken. In other words, you can make a hole in a door or a wall with a bomb, or even cut open the sky with your knife. Despite being inspired by Wolfenstein, the levels in Voxelstein 3D are totally different from Apogee's legendary game. In fact you'll find some rather disturbing images in some of the rooms in Voxelstein 3D, with, for example, pictures of George Bush hung on the walls along with other controversial figures from the history of the United States. Despite the disturbing images, Voxelstein 3D offers you a solid FPS playing experience and, most importantly, preserves the original weapons: a knife, pistol, machine gun, or sub-machine gun. Voxelstein 3D is a rather curious game where besides having to shoot lots of Nazis, you can make holes in any of the walls with the help of your knife or the grenades you'll find in the castle's secrets rooms.

WinBoard Portable is a small application with which you can play chess on your own. If you are a big fan of this well-known board game, then you'll love that this program includes several versions of chess, from the international to the Chinese, Japanese, and Makruk versions. The way it works is very simple. You just have to know the rules and choose the mode you want to play in: either against a chess engine or using Internet connection sharing (ICS) which allows you to play against people from all over the world and even chat with them as you do so. Once you've chosen the mode, your game will appear on the screen. By default you'll play as white, but you can change this whenever you want. WinBoard Portable works using your mouse; all you have to do is click on the piece you want to move and the places you can move it will automatically appear on the board. You have five minutes to consider your next move; plus, as you play, an evaluation graphic will appear to show you how effective your decisions are.

At the beginning of the game you select your hero from a series of adventurers with different abilities: warriors, wizards, etc. But as you progress through your adventure, you can add new characters to your group, which will end up being a proper band of heroes. Like in other games from this genre, the gameplay has you carefully choose your characters' actions in order to minimize the damage done in battles. After every battle you get experience points, which let you level up your characters' abilities and even teach them new magic powers. Styrateg is a very entertaining game that brings you more than 10 hours of adventure. Its excellent soundtrack and solid artistic design make playing this game a great pleasure.
