Counter: Side is an RPG with anime aesthetics and a gacha system, where you'll have to save a futuristic world from the clutches of half organic, half mechanical monsters. Luckily, you'll have a large range of characters that you can gradually unlock as you win battles and advance in the story. The combat system, unlike in other similar RPGs, is not fully automatic. You will have to deploy your units on the battlefield as the energy bar fills up. This way, you can create combos and synergies between your most powerful characters' attacks, which will be very important as you progress through the game. Something else to keep in mind with the combat system is that Counter: Side has an exciting PvP mode where you can go up against other players online. In this game mode, your group of heroes will have to fight against those of other players. So you'll need to learn to master the tempos and synergies of your characters, otherwise, you won't last long fighting online. As usual in these gacha system and anime aesthetics-focused RPGs, one of the key aspects of Counter: Side is the large number of characters (female, in particular) that you can add to your group. But it's not just the quantity, but also the quality. Each of the game's heroines is perfectly animated in 2D, with very fluid movements and an excellent finish. What's more, you'll also be able to acquire different types of skins for many of the characters. Counter: Side is a very entertaining RPG with hints of strategy that, although it stands out most for its visuals, also has an exciting atmosphere and an interesting and detailed story mode. Instead, you control a young man that, at nighttime, has to defend himself from the horrible creatures that hunt him behind every shadow and every dark corner. The gameplay in Five Nights at Freddy's 4, in any case, is very similar to that in previous installments. You can move from the bed towards any of the doors in the room, and open them by keeping a button pressed. You can also use a flashlight to light up any area for a short period of time. An important thing to do when playing is to adjust the volume of your speakers. Why? Because you need to hear the enemies breathing in order to predict their attacks. Also, if they get you, you'll be more scared if the volume is high. Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is a memorable horror game that can scare you more than just a few times. The graphics have improved slightly compared to the third title, creating an even greater experience.

Namco X Capcom is a beat 'em up where you can choose between various characters from different Namco and Capcom franchises to fight against dozens of enemies from games by the same companies. You can control charismatic characters like Ryu, Jin Kazama, Mitsurugi, Taki, and Haggar. Each comes with their own weapons and array of special moves, including up to seven unique attacks. You also have a button to cover and defend yourself from the attacks of the dozens of enemies that fill each level. Enemies include your run-of-the-mill skeletons, but also Akuma himself, who won't hesitate to launch hadokens at you. The game's levels are full of detail and have lots of background animations. Namco X Capcom is a fun action game with excellent pixelated graphics. The only downside is that the game has practically no story behind it. You just choose a character and hit the streets to take down any enemy who dares get in your way.

ColdRL is a traditional roguelike where you play the last survivor of an expedition in one of the world’s coldest regions. The game’s main goal, very simple at first blush, consists of walking 600 meters to get out of the tundra. Although this may sound easy, it won’t be at all. Along the way, you’ll find legions of strange, giant spider–like creatures called ‘manshonyagger’ that will try to kill you at the very sight of you. (And they'll most likely succeed within a few turns.) To defend yourself, you’ll have a 9mm pistol with very little ammo and a knife. However, the most important thing will be to stay out of sight from the strange creatures since your odds against them in combat will always be very low. Besides the manshonyagger, you’ll have another, even more powerful enemy: the cold. If you don’t keep your body temperature stable, you'll die from hypothermia. ColdRL is an RPG and, to some extent, a stealth game where players need to carefully think through every move. Take a step in the wrong direction and the tundra will end you.
