Moves are controlled using the keyboard, while aiming and shooting is done using the mouse. The game uses a visual aesthetic known as 'cell shading' and a very peculiar palette of colors that makes it quite impressive. Plus, the character models are really well done and have a style of their own. Virtus Per Verba: First Person Shouter is a fun game that offers an interesting story and fun gameplay, with a very underused stage.

The second element that is most outstanding in the game is its careful and unique graphics, which thanks to some very carefully designed pixels and an artistic design in an animated drawing style, will give you a very gratifying visual experience. Last but not least you have the soundtrack, which includes some truly magnificent pieces and perfectly complements the outstanding visuals of the game. The Spirit Engine 2 is an excellent free RPG that no fan of the genre should miss. A game that will provide you with at least 20 hours of fun.

Because you don't have time to look at the keyboard, you end up learning faster. In duel mode, you have to type with different keys to write complete words in English. Without a doubt, this is a great way to learn how to type. You can create different profiles, too, so different people can play at their own pace. You can also customize the score settings. Twisted Tower is a 2D RPG platformer, reminiscent in many respects to titles like Super Metroid or Castlevania. That is, players explore 2D levels, avoiding traps and fighting enemies while unlocking new skills to move forward. The game, still in its alpha stage, has no definite plot. Instead, players can simply talk to a few villagers and explore the Twisted Tower, a dungeon full of all kinds of dangers for the player to overcome. Fortunately, Twisted Tower allows players to evolve their character however they like and use lots of different weapons. You can find new skills to jump or hit harder, as well as using swords, hammers and bows and arrows. Besides all the weapons you have at your disposal, the hero in Twisted Tower can also use different spells to not only damage his enemies, but also to perform all sorts of other heroic deeds. Twisted Tower is a fun RPG with some excellent Super Nintendo style graphics. And while it is still not entirely finished, it does offer a better gaming experience than many other games in the genre.

As with all Smash titles, each of the settings has its own personality and its own secrets. And here it is no different. Learning the behavior of the different maps in the game is essential to be able to win at higher difficulty levels. Some, like the Tetris setting, can be lethal if you are not very attentive to the pieces falling from the top. Then, just choose a server from one of the many that are usually active and start shooting. You may occasionally find a server that uses files you don't have, but don't worry. One of the great advantages of Zandronum is that it automatically downloads any missing files so you can play on almost any server you find. Zandronum is a quick and convenient way to play Doom (and all its variants) online. You can play in one of two modes: cooperative, or the popular 'Deathmatch'. And, if you can't find exactly the game you're looking for, all you have to do is set one up yourself.

Viscera Cleanup is a very peculiar videogame indeed. In it, the player assumes the role of a spaceship janitor who also happens to be the only survivor of an alien massacre that happened on the ship. As such, he has to clean up the disaster. The game plays out in first person, as if it were a shooter game. The difference is that instead of weapons like pistols, shotguns, or machine guns, you have a mop, latex gloves, and a bucket. Your only enemy: Mess. Because of the massacre (which you don't see), almost the entire ship is full of blood stains, guts, and human remains. To clean up the puddles of blood you'll need the bucket and mop; to get rid of the intestines and amputated appendages you'll need a trash can. Viscera Cleanup is the closest thing to a space janitor simulator that you'll ever see in your life. Even though in itself the task of cleaning floors may not seem particularly fun, before long you'll discover that exploring the ship is in fact quite entertaining.
