In order to survive, you'll need to collect resources, craft different tools, build structures, and fight your enemies. The gameplay is very similar to Minecraft, since you'll have to chop at different materials to acquire resources hidden in the world's blocks. What makes it different than Minecraft is that in WorldCrafter you won't see any ridged blocks, but, instead, the world will be made up of smoother pixels. WorldCrafter gives you the freedom to climb mountains and build your towers and buildings on top of the world, if you want. You can also carve out tunnels and dig holes that are hundreds of feet deep! Basically, the world is at your disposal. WorldCrafter is an intriguing sandbox in which you'll have the freedom to do whatever comes to mind. The reason why 'I Wanna be the Guy' is more well-known, however, is not for its multiple references to other games, but its terrible difficulty. Throughout the many scenarios that you have to overcome you will find traps placed with the objective to kill you over and over again. For if the design of the levels is not complicated enough, on top of that your main character is quite weak. The slightest touch of any element of the scenario will end his life, making you go back to the last checkpoint where the game was saved. I Wanna be the Guy is a platform game both fun and legendary. It's one of those challenges you like to boast about once you've overcome it. Although of course, overcoming this challenge will cost you blood, sweat and tears.

In any case, the best thing about creating your own character is the detail with which you can customize your avatar. The game offers a truly spectacular character editor, which lets you modify everything from the size of the hips to the width of the eyes to the shape of the nose. Once you create your avatar, you can begin the adventure. The most surprising thing about Blade and Soul is the total freedom you have to move around the map. You can run, jump, and fly through incredible landscapes. Additionally, combats are much more dynamic than in other MMORPGs, and require you to perform combos to maximize damage. Blade and Soul is an MMORPG with spectacular graphics, and its character creation system alone is more than enough to keep you entertained for hours. On top of that, it also has an interesting and extensive story mode.

Friday the 13th 3D is a third-person action horror game that puts a twist on the genre by making you the bad guy. It's quite difficult to die, while killing your poor victims is usually pretty easy.

Splatterhouse RPG is a game that is sure to please horror movie fans, especially those who know the Splatterhouse franchise. Its allusions will be appreciated by anyone who is familiar with the saga.

Viriax is a classic arcade game where your objective is to advance as much as possible eliminating infectious cells through a series of levels that represent different sections of the human body. You will begin by purifying the heart, then the lungs and the intestines, but as you go along improving your score you will be able to unlock more and more phases for a total of twelve sickly levels that will certainly drive you out of your mind. And in spite of the fact that the mechanics of the game are very fun and frankly intuitive, the most significant element of Viriax is its enormous level of difficulty. The reason being that in order to move you have to use energy (the life bar), and for that reason you have to be very careful when deciding when it's worth attacking an enemy and when it is smarter to keep going forward. Of course none of this matters if one of the bosses destroys you in a couple of seconds... which is also possible. The unique visuals of the game continue in the line of Locomalito, with a charming pixelated style that will thrill thos who started playing videogames in the 80s and 90s. However, the graphics are nothing when you are hearing such an awesome soundtrack as the one that Gryzor87 proposes, the usual composer for Locomalito works. Viriax is an excellent title that, even if it is excessively difficult, manages to harness an atrocity thanks to it's addictive mechanics.

The Soul of Dracula is a platform, action, and adventure game where you play a vampire slayer who, armed with a whip, must venture deep into the mountains to find Count Dracula's Castle. Once you find it, you'll have to go inside and kill Dracula. Basically, this game is a newer version of Castlevania since it has virtually all the same elements as Konami's legendary game. First and foremost, you'll see similarities in the gameplay: you have to go through different 2D levels and kill all your enemies with a whip. The enemies in The Soul of Dracula are also inspired by Castlevania. You'll find zombies, skeletons that throw bones at you, bats, ghosts, and even big bosses, like Death. The weapons you can use are also similar: by default you'll start off with a whip, but can also substitute it with a metal chain. The Soul of Dracula is a great tribute to the Castlevania saga that, even if its visuals are only average, does offer a very fun experience that will be especially appreciated by fans of Konami's legendary franchise.

This game includes thirteen levels of increasing difficulty – and your wit and skills will play a key role in all of them. The scissors are obviously useful, but you need a good dose of intelligence to get through the last few levels. Cut It is a great puzzle game from the creators of Crayon Physics. They've certainly succeeded in developing another fun and surprising game this time around.

You can get in close to the ground to appreciate the detail, right down to the individual blades of grass, or rise up above the atmosphere to see the circumference of the planet. As you can see in the images, the graphics in Outerra Anteworld are far from anything seen on other land generation games. Through a series of fractal algorithms, the engine is capable of generating all this information in real time, creating a scene exactly as the user envisions it, often with breathtaking results. One of the most striking details of this visual scalability is that if you have a powerful enough computer, you will not experience any lag when moving between looking at the grass on the ground and launching yourself into space. Besides being able to take a look at the natural world by: flying over mountains and ridges, moving along beaches and deserts, or exploring lush forests, Outerra Anteworld also allows you to use different vehicles like trucks, airplanes or helicopters, thanks to its integrated physics engine. The climate and the atmosphere will also vary and depend on where you are in the world. The weather conditions will not be the same on a mountain peak as on the beach for example, and another algorithm will control the rain and the sun. Outerra Anteworld is a 'sandbox', but not just any old sandbox. The game has a specific purpose and is very difficult to categorize as simply a video game, but the experience of travelling through a huge and spectacular worlds is always fascinating.

Alien Assault is a turn-based strategy game played in an overhead view. In it, players lead different squads of space marines in their fight against a relentlessly murderous alien race. The battles almost always take place inside spacecraft or other enclosed spaces filled with corridors and small rooms. These conditions are ideal for the aliens, who – despite their use of guns – are particularly lethal in hand-to-hand fighting. Luckily, the space marines have attributes that the aliens do not: discipline and sacrifice. The key to victory generally lies in the correct use of your units, including the willingness to sacrifice some of your men when necessary. You find several different types of unit in Alien Assault, each with its own unique advantages and disadvantages. Marines armed with flamethrowers, for example, are ideal for clearing out alien-infested rooms from a distance. On the other hand, units with power hammers may slow the advance of an enemy force in a narrow hallway. Alien Assault has five different campaigns with more than a dozen missions in each one. It also comes with tons of configuration options to leave the game exactly the way you want it. Alien Assault is an outstanding turn-based strategy game. Cleverly inspired by the legendary board game Space Hulk, it creates an almost-perfect gaming experience that fans of the genre will love.
