The gameplay is pretty simple. You can do things like picking up objects and using them by moving the cursor, and use the arrow keys to move your character from left to right and jump. You can also use the mouse to access your inventory, from which you can use any item you have previously picked up. The graphics in Tick Tock Isle are really charming, with pixelated designs reminiscent of 16-bit games. The map is designed with a lot of attention to detail, creating a truly immersive experience. Tick Tock Isle is a fun and charming game. Its gameplay, as well as the storyline, makes it perfect for any kind of audience. That said, fans of time travel will probably enjoy it even more.

At the end of the demo, that takes just a few minutes, a very similar punctuation screen, similar to the traditional ones from the Resident Evil saga will show us the results, informing us of if we can or nor run Resident Evil 6 in a satisfactory way with our computer. Resident Evil 6 Benchmark is a very interesting application for all the interested users in the final game, as it will allow them to know beforehand which resolution and which graphic options he will have to use... if the computer has enough to play it, of course.

One Late Night is a horror game in first person in which players take on the role of a security guard for a group of offices, who must pass, what at first seems like a quiet night, without getting startled. The mechanics of the game are very simple. You can only move with the arrow keys through all the offices and interact minimally with the environment, opening and closing doors and drawers, or taking some other object. That will be the beginning of the story, of course, because as the night draws on strange things begin to happen around you. At first, it will be just strange messages on your computer screen or a phone ringing, but the time will come when there will be real fear. Graphically, One Late Night is an outstanding title being a free and independent game. The scenarios are very detailed and the textures are awesome. In addition, the lighting effects are very well done. One Late Night is a scary game, that really gets scary. At all times, you feel helpless against the unknown threats, and discover that the peaceful offices where you start the story, can start to become terrifying.

Micronations is a 3D strategy and management game where players have to build their own city starting basically from scratch. You start with nothing more than a house, and on it you'll have to expand your domain. Players have dozens of elements available for expanding their city. The first and most basic are highways, of which you'll have different types depending on where you want to construct them. Once you've created a good network of roads you can start raising all types of buildings: different kinds of housing, leisure venues, shopping malls, farms, and offices buildings. You can build all these buildings and elements with just a click of the mouse. And maybe this is Micronations' main problem: that building anything new is no harder than clicking on a free space on the map. Micronations is a very entertaining real-time management game that also includes very solid 3D graphics. Its main problem is that it doesn't have well-defined playability, meaning there are no objectives for winning... nor any possibility of losing.

UnCiv is an open source turn-based strategy game that's based on the brilliant Civilization franchise (or, more specifically, on the saga's fifth installment). The game, as the screenshots show, has graphics closer to that of the second or third installment, but as soon as you start playing, you'll recognize almost all the controls and concepts from the fifth one (which is still very popular to this day). Your mission in UnCiv is to create the best civilization in history by founding cities, managing your resources, eliminating threats, and using diplomacy. When you start a new game, it's a good idea to start by exploring your surroundings to recognize the nearest threats and the best opportunities. After that, try to expand your territory and, over time, create a prosperous empire. Needless to say, UnCiv is a relatively complex game that, while familiar to any veteran of the Civilization saga, may be somewhat complicated for those who have never played any of its installments. Players have to manage concepts and controls as diverse as diplomacy with other civilizations, the technology tree, the development of cities, the adoption of new policies, and much more. Fortunately, the game has a tutorial to guide you through all these processes. UnCiv is a great open source version of a classic video game. This is a completely free and ad-free game that will delight fans of the genre. In a nutshell, this is an absolutely outstanding title that takes up only 80MB and can be played on virtually any modern computer. It's a real treat for fans of turn-based strategy and 4X.

DC Universe is a superhero MMORPG in which you'll take on the role of a hero that you can create from the ground up, choosing your own look, superpowers, name, and anything else that defines a true superhero... or super villain. There are two different teams in the game story, superheroes, including characters like Batman, Superman, and Wonderwoman (who in fact will be mentors to your character), and super villains, headed by Lex Luthor, Ra's al Ghul, and Joker. Once you have your character, you can start exploring a large and vibrant world full of characters, both computer and human-played, and with hundreds of missions to complete. As you might expect from this kind of game, your character will gain experience and skill as you successfully complete those missions. Graphically, DC Universe is outstanding. There's no doubt that we're talking about one of the free online games with the best graphics out there. DC Universe is a great MMORPG which, thanks to its unique setting, ends up being much more enticing than the majority of similar titles. If you're tired of medieval and fantasy settings and are looking for something new, this may be the best option you've got.

Maplevania is a beat'em up set in the Castlevania universe, where players can choose from three different characters to take to Dracula's castle and end his reign of terror once and for all. The 'Maplevania' name comes from the game's visual style, which mirrors that of the Maple Story games. In other words, all the characters have a 'superdeformed' style, with big heads and big eyes, but small bodies. The result is a cute and fun aesthetic. Maplevania's gameplay is very similar to any traditional beat'em up. The only problem in this sense is that the characters have a very limited range of moves. In most other games like this, you get a range of button combinations to pull off special attacks, but not here. During the adventure, you'll get to see lots of different enemies like zombies, skeletons, bats, and ghosts, all familiar to the Castlevania franchise. And at the end of each level, you get to fight a 'final boss'. Maplevania is a traditional beat'em up game that despite being a bit limited is still fun thanks to its entertaining graphics and simple gameplay.

The concept of Zen Bondage is as peculiar as it is simple: all you have to do is use a hundred meter long rope to cover as much surface area as possible on a wooden block that can take one of several different forms. The game 3D graphics and physics are incredible, especially when you take into consideration the fact that we are talking about a very lightweight game that doesn't even require installation. What's more, the performance is very good, even on lower end computers. There are five different figures in the game that the user can tie up with a rope. This is not as easy as it looks, since every pass of the rope in a certain area automatically blocks you from making another pass. Because of this, you must plan your movements well, or even take back some rope if you make a mistake. Zen Bondage is a unique, very playable game that breaks the mold. It also has a very attractive soundtrack.

MEmu is an Android emulator that specializes in video games, thanks to which you can enjoy any of the many exclusive titles you can find for mobile phones and tablets, directly on your computer. You don't need to adjust complicated settings and configure the controls, just install it and start playing. One of the main problems with using Mednafen is that it has no interface and it requires users to drag the ROMs directly to the emulator's executable to be able to play. Fortunately, those days are over. In order to use Mednaffe you'll need to unzip the contents of the compressed file inside the same folder where you have Mednafen. If you don't have both executables inside the same folder, you'll get an error message. You'll be able to configure settings for the entire emulation system in general or, if you prefer, for some specific emulators separately. Tales of Middle Earth is a mod for Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, which allows you to enjoy a new campaign set exclusively in the fantastical world of Lord of the Rings, and all the exciting features that come with it. In this mod, you can find a ton of new buildings, with their corresponding animated construction and destruction, ranging from the Barad-dûr tower itself to the plains and fields of the Rohan battle. You will also come across 30 types of new units spread among 18 different factions. Elves, Orcs, Dwarfs, Hobbits, Uruk-Hai... they're all there, along with their corresponding animation, which must have been a project of titanic scale. The best thing about it is that multiplayer still works. This means that if one of your friends has also installed the mod, you can challenge him to a battle on LAN. Tales of Middle Earth is the most excellent mod for Age of Empires II of all time. It is not recommended, since the puzzles will gradually get more complicated and, in our humble opinion, it is more fun to play it with friends. After all, two heads are better than one. Spatium Inter Nos has some ingenious puzzles that fans of the genre will love, with laser games that will keep us thinking about how to solve them. The character's control is also quite fluid and straightforward, thus avoiding the usual frustration of complex controllers. And since the game is still under development, if we find any bugs, we will just have to report them to the developers. This puzzle video game is the first title of Space Onion Games studio, a company founded in 2020 and born from the master's dissertation of students from Voxel School and the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. Despite it being an independent and free title, it has some very detailed scenarios and some light-effects that at times will play tricks on you. Haunt is a terror immersion game that is free, visually stunning, and one that can last a while. It also has enough replay value that you can enjoy it many times over.

The Cursed is a real-time strategy game geared towards multiplayer duels that uses the famous open source engine Spring to present a battle in which demons, the undead and space marines face off. There are two main groups: the cursed, which include demons, zombies, bone dragons and werewolves, and the Imperial Guard, which is almost entirely comprised of human beings, but which has more advanced and lethal technology to rely on. The battles in The Cursed are usually pretty fast, no longer than twenty minutes, with a relatively simple progression. First, you will have to create an operating base for your units, as well as collect the only resources available (energy and metal). You can use these resources to create new buildings and units. The Cursed is a real-time strategy game that is geared towards combat. Control is pushed to the background to put emphasis on the battles between space marines and supernatural creatures.

It has a minimalist aesthetic with a lot of style and super fluid animations. The game is proper delight to the eye, and the soundtrack is brilliant, too. The combat system used in Forgotten Myths is very similar to others in the same genre, like Magic: the Gathering. Players need to play energy cards to later be able to use both creatures and spells. Creatures are placed in one of the spaces on the card table in such a way that if they are not facing an enemy creature, they will deliver direct damage to the opposing player. Players can build their own decks by buying new cards with currency obtained from battles. And, if you want, you can buy packs of cards with real money, although that is completely optional. With this device, you can change the direction of gravity to help you get through every level. In this game, one of the challenges is that you can't jump, so you'll have to change the direction of gravity in the correct order to move a stone block in front of you, for example. Visually speaking, In Between is a fantastic game. Both the settings and the characters are hand-drawn with a beautiful style, and the special effects when you finish a level or die enhance the atmosphere of the game.
