Ideally, they should be played in order, but it is not strictly necessary. One of the most fun aspects of Splatterhouse 3D is the wide variety of new enemies you will have to face. Some of the game's weapons, such as the shotgun or the chainsaw, will ring a bell if you're a fan of Doom; but the enemies are completely new. You will be able to slaughter more than a dozen horrifying creatures, from despicable ghouls that crawl towards you, to silent specters capable of surprising you in any situation. Many of these monsters, moreover, are clearly inspired by the Lovecraft Myths. Among the new features included in this mod is the option of seeing non-interactive scenes in which, apart from being told the story, you’ll live movie-like experiences in pure Call of Duty style. The similarities with the Activision game however end here, as Forever 2013 offers live action, without cover or life regeneration. Simply select both files and drag them into the GZDoom executable. And that's it. It is very important, however, to drag both files at the same time. Otherwise, you will not be able to enjoy the full experience. Although it uses the Doom II engine, Trench Foot incorporates a host of changes that radically alter the base game. The story and setting, of course, are completely different from those of the original game, including the backstory, which you can discover in playable prequels developed by the same team. Similarly, the game includes more than a dozen new enemies and as many weapons, which have been specially designed for the mod. You will even be able to face new bosses, with spectacular designs. What makes Trench Foot stand out compared to other mods and the vast majority of first-person shooter games is that almost all the action takes place in the trenches. You will spend most of your time in narrow and claustrophobic settings, knowing that behind every corner or mound of earth you might find a new enemy pointing in your direction. This usually makes the combat fast and brutal, with no compromises. One shotgun blast at point-blank range is all it will take for enemies to bite the dust. Download Trench Foot and enjoy an excellent full conversion of Doom II. This is an outstanding mod that offers a new story, new enemies, new weapons and several hours of gameplay that will allow you to enjoy the game like the first time you played. CountryCide is a first-person action-horror game that also serves as a prequel to Trench Foot, another game by the same developers. Your objective in this brief but intense horror adventure set in the outskirts of a city is to discover a group of cultists who, apparently, are worshipping and trying to summon an unholy creature, capable of bringing doom to Earth. CountryCide is a mod for Doom II and, as such, is very easy to run. All you have to do is unzip the compressed file, which is in .pk3 format, in any folder. After that, you just have to drag this file to the GZDoom executable (the Doom mod manager par excellence). And that's it. The only thing you should keep in mind is that, as always, you will need to have the original Doom II or Ultimate Doom files on your PC for the game to work correctly. The story of CountryCide places you in the shoes of a Templar who goes to investigate a farm on the outskirts of a city. From the very beginning, you will notice that something is not right. However, instead of challenging you with monsters and enemies from the first minute, the game manages to slowly build an oppressive atmosphere that will slowly make your hair stand on end. You will have to go through gloomy forests, neglected mansions and infected sewers. And you will always, always need all five senses focused on the game. One of the strengths of CountryCide is how it manages to deftly switch between quiet moments of tension and outbursts of action filled with gunfire and screaming. When the action does come, it comes in full force. The enemies in CountryCide are relentless and, if you take your eye off the ball for even a second, they will grab you and finish you off before you can even pull the trigger. This level of difficulty helps considerably to raise the overall tension of a game that, in itself, manages to keep you on the edge of your seat. Download CountryCide and enjoy an excellent first-person horror game that will take you approximately one hour. Best of all, while the game is good in itself, it's really just the prequel to a much bigger title: Trench Foot, in which you'll discover much more information about the whole background of this terrifying adventure.

DayZ Mod is a modification for the brilliant ARMA II that will allow you to convert the war game (one of the most realistic on the market) into the ultimate zombie apocalypse simulator. Before playing you will need to have ARMA II Combined Operations installed (the game, plus it’s expansion). Once you have it on your hard drive and have installed the mod, you will change the game into something new—something much more fun than even the original title. DayZ Mod is a very realistic survival game in which you will have to be careful of not only the zombies that have infested the enormous area you’re in but also everything that surrounds you. You will need munitions to keep your character healthy, but also a light source to see once it gets dark. And most importantly—you will need protection. The protection, however, is a two-edged sword. On the one side it’s good to always have a machine gun on hand, but the sound of the rounds will attract more zombies, and what’s worse—other survivors that can possibly help you.. or try to rob you. That is the awesomeness of DayZ Mod—any player can ally with you or kill you at their pleasure. Of course, you can do the same. DayZ Mod is a super fun addition for ARMA II that no only becomes a completely unique experience, but also makes it an entirely new game that is worth playing.

Divine Frequency (Mod) is a stand-alone mod for Doom that will let you completely transform ID Software's legendary game to the point that you'll find it hard to believe it uses an engine developed in 1993. What's more, unlike many other mods, which require the original Doom II files or having GZDoom already installed on your PC, you won't need anything else to start playing. As mentioned above, you don't need any additional files or other programs installed to start Divine Frequency (Mod). To start a new game, you only need to unzip the compressed file, which you can download from here, into a new folder. Then, you must run the file "Start Divine Frequency.bat". Doing so will open two windows— ReShade Setup and the GZDoom manager. With ReShade Setup, you don't have to do anything, as the window will just stay open in the background. In the GZDoom manager, all you need to do is double-click on the game's name. And that's it. You will be able to start playing. As soon as you open Divine Frequency (Mod) for the first time, you'll notice that any similarities with Doom are practically non-existent. When you start a new game, you'll find a completely different interface with a different character. In the upper left corner of the screen, you can find your mysterious avatar's icon and their health points, energy bar, and armor level. In the upper right corner are your kill points, which you can get by destroying enemies and will allow you to level up the three main skills in the game. Then, you can see your inventory shortcuts in the lower left and lower right corners, with the grenades and ammunition you have equipped. It's tempting to start shooting as soon as you can control your character, but Divine Frequency (Mod) isn't just any regular mod, and ideally, you should start by opening your inventory. From this window, not only can you take a look at all the items you start with, but you'll also see how much weight you're carrying (there is a limit), and, most importantly, you'll be able to consult the Codex. You can inspect all your weapons from the Codex, which is very important given that each one has special attacks and is particularly effective against a specific type of enemy. You'll also find the Bestiary, which, again, will inform you of the monsters' strengths and weaknesses. And finally, you'll be able to read any messages your character has received. Only by reading these messages can you understand the game's story well. Although Divine Frequency (Mod) is a first-person shooter to all intents and purposes, the influences of the Dark Souls saga and, more specifically, Bloodborne are undeniable. And this translates perfectly to combat. The enemies you encounter throughout the game are highly dangerous, and if you don't know how to fight them correctly, your game will most likely end prematurely. That's why you have over half a dozen weapons and grenades right from the start— you will need them. Just Cause 2 Multiplayer is the best mod yet to appear for Just Cause 2, and a real must have for all lovers of the game. It adds a virtually infinite number of game hours to a game that is already truly insane.

Carmageddon - GTA IV is a Grand Theft Auto IV mod that lets you enjoy all the action from the legendary Carmageddon on the streets of Liberty City. Basically, what this mod does is make all the cars in the game go crazy and try to destroy your car. As you start to play Carmageddon - GTA IV you will instantly notice how the streets are filled with crazies trying to kill you at the wheel of different vehicles. Luckily, you can use any vehicle you want: motorcycles, cars, trucks, and so on. Carmageddon - GTA IV is a mod that has nothing at all to do with the story of the original game, and does not offer any improvement to the graphics or playability. It does, however, give you the chance to enjoy a different game mode, and a very funny one at that. In addition, we can easily turn this game mode on and off with the push of a button.

Brutal Doom is a mod for the original Doom that, after three years of intense development, now offers a much bloodier and more refined experience (especially with regard to the shooting mechanism) compared to the normal game. You'll notice the increased goriness of Doom not just in the increased blood splatters on the walls and the bodies of enemies, but also in the new options that allow you to shoot people in the head or tear your enemies apart with bullets. Also, almost all of your opponents will now have completely new death animations. Doom's normal shooting system, which didn't use the mouse by default, has been updated so that it does. Although the best part is that the weapons have been completely remodeled so that no one weapon is significantly better than the others. For example, the sawed-off shotgun is your best choice at short range, while the machine gun will prove to be your best friend against big groups of enemies. Brutal Doom is one of the best Doom mods out there because it allows you to enjoy all the levels of the original titles, with a bloodier and more entertaining facelift that also looks much better.
