Heldric: The Legend of the Shoemaker is a game that combines real-time strategy with hack and slash combat, so players can construct their own village as they help to defend it, sword in hand. Instead of stepping into the shoes of an epic warrior or an archmage, you will control a simple shoemaker. Thanks to this particular role, the citizens will ask you to tell them where it would be a good idea to improve the city. And you can improve it a lot. Your village will need houses and tents so that the villagers have a place to sleep, but you will also need bonfires, meeting places, smithies, shops, magic centers and all kinds of buildings. In order to build all of this, of course, you will need money, which you can get by killing enemies or hunting. Once you get to this point, you will see the 'hack and slash' part of Heldric: The Legend of the Shoemaker. You can control your character, attacking enemies and fighting them in hand to hand combat or using long-distance weapons. However, you won't be controlling a hero, so you have to be very careful when you're fighting. Heldric: The Legend of the Shoemaker is an excellent combination of genres and they suit it well. In addition, the game is not only long and fun, but it also has excellent graphics.

The result of the battle will be the result of adding and subtracting the defendant and attacker troops. If you don't have enough troops, you won't be able to attack. You can play OpenFracas versus up to six players, humans or controlled by the PC, individually or in teams. OpenFracas also includes a map generator that allows you to create a new map according to three different aspects: land, water and islands, and of course enlarge or reduce the size of the board. IF you want to play on real maps, it includes a world map and an Europe Map. The goal is to create a big Empire and conquer all the territories in the map. By the way, the music is really good.

Mechanics are the samewe enjoyed in the previous game of the sage, you'll have to settle the castle drawing lines with your character. Of course, you'll have to be careful with all those monsters custodiating the castles. Furthermore they are not theonly ones protecting them, so be specially carefu wth the rest of enemies in order to achieve your goals. Fortix 2 is really beautiful and amusing, graphically is pretty good and very funny. Give it a try, it will hook you.
