Incomitat is a rather peculiar game where you don't seem to have a defined goal. You simply wake up inside a cabin with a bed, an oven, a pick, and a sickle, and it will be up to you to discover what the heck you're doing there.
For that purpose, you'll obviously have to explore your surroundings, where you'll find trees to cut down, grass to grow, animals to hunt, and even creatures that will try to kill you, like ghosts and skeletons.
Sooner or later you'll discover that you're trapped on an island, as within a few screens you'll run into large masses of water that will lead to certain death if you dare try crossing them. On top of this, if you look hard enough, it's possible that you'll come across a boss who will make things really complicated.
Incomitat's pixelated graphics, while not spectacular, are nice enough to make playing a proper pleasure.
Incomitat is a short game in every aspect but can be quite frustrating due to its lack of defined goals. However, if you focus on just exploring and having a good time, it can get very fun.
