Bungie itself shared the code for Marathon 2 in 1999, which led to the development of Aleph One, an open source engine that can run the Marathon trilogy on modern computers with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems without a hitch. Of course, this engine is the one used in this version of the game, enabling you to play with high-resolution, panoramic scenes. It also lets you customize other settings for both the game's graphics and controls. Marathon 2: Durandal's campaign is much more extensive than the first installment's, with more locations and enemies. It also includes a new weapon, the shotgun, and you can even equip yourself with two weapons at once to double your firepower. All this to say, this game's campaign is much more extensive and entertaining, picking up where the first installment left off. To understand what's going on, however, you'll have to pay attention to the terminals you discover. Marathon 2: Durandal is an excellent FPS that runs with the Aleph One engine and looks absolutely fantastic. You can start by using an ember from the bonfire, but as you advance, you'll need to find other sources of light. Exploring in the dark is not at all easy. Not only is it difficult to move around - blinking constantly - you also have to take into account the tension produced by knowing that you could die at any moment. 173 is a truly terrifying first-person adventure that will keep you holding your breath. The best part is, although it has some things in common, it's not just another remake of Slender.

Because this is an unfinished version that may never be complete, Castlevania Remade in Unreal has no main menu, no options, or anything of the sort. As soon as you run the game, you will start directly outside Dracula's castle. The controls are very simple: with the arrow keys you can move Simon Belmont, with the space bar you can jump, with the 'e' key you can attack, and with the 'r' key you can use the secondary weapon. And that's it. With these controls you will have to try to defeat all the enemies that stand in your way. As mentioned at the beginning, Castlevania Remade in Unreal is not complete, but that does not mean that it has no content. The game features a handful of levels and even a couple of different bosses. In the same way, you will also be able to face many of the common enemies of the saga, and you will be able to use some of the most characteristic weapons, such as the knife, the axe or the cross, among others. You will also be able to upgrade Simon's whip, turning it into his mythical chain with a spiked ball at the end. Castlevania Remade in Unreal is a real treat for fans of the Castlevania saga, as it will allow them to enjoy the early stages of the first installment of the franchise, but with very detailed modern visuals. Of course, being faithful to the original work, the game is very difficult, so you better start playing with a good dose of patience, because you will probably need it.

It's important to keep in mind that your objective is to reach the end of the plane, where the parachute and the door are located. With that in mind, it's totally possible to get there without hitting anyone, wait for whoever is wearing the parachute to try for the door, take it from them, and win. Going Down is a short action game that, while it might have a pretty bleak premise, is very fun throughout all its levels.

Although the game may sound quite simple, piloting the bird is pretty complicated, and you'll need a controller (like an Xbox 360 controller) to master it. The nice part is, using the controller, coupled with the game's outstanding graphics, will make you feel like you're playing a console game instead of a free game. Nuts for Gems is a really fun title that, despite not having a lot of content (there are only a few levels), wins with straightforward gameplay and fantastic graphics.
