Relic Romance is an action game where two players control robots who have to compete for three relics inside pretty big scenarios. This is actually the least important thing in the game, though. Your main goal throughout the game is to find the relics, and as you move forward you have to fight lots of different robotic enemies that come in all sizes and shapes. You can cooperate with the other players, or try to kill them if you want. This means that Relic Romance is optionally a cooperative game. You can play together to finish the game and defeat the most difficult enemies, or kill the other player to get more experience points. With this experience, which you can get mainly by killing AI-controlled robots, you can improve some of your three attributes in the game: health, speed, and strength. In Relic Romance you can improve not just your stats, but also your equipment. There are several swords and weapons you can use, such as the grenade launcher and the sonic waves, which you can use as much as you want. Relic Romance is a really fun game with excellent graphics. The only downside, if it can be considered one, is that you need someone else besides you in order to play it.

System Of Souls is a first-person puzzle-platformer in which you, as a player, will have to go through a series of rooms with different types of challenges. All this while you are accompanied by an Artificial Intelligence with a sharp sense of humor that will explain how you should proceed. In 2155, humanity is forced to transfer its essence into robotic bodies in order to survive. You will embody the last cyborg with a soul inside who does not remember who he is as he travels through the facilities of the corporation that controls this technology. The default System Of Souls's control system requires a keyboard and a mouse, but from the configuration menu, you can choose a controller if you prefer. Thanks to the tutorial, which will take place during the first few minutes, you will discover how to interact with all the game elements. You will learn to press buttons, collect cubes, use the "hook," or slow down time. Each of these actions, of course, will be absolutely necessary to make progress. The advancement of System Of Souls is very similar to that of the "Portal" saga. You will have to complete the puzzles in a room in order to open the door that will lead you to the next one. Some rooms will focus on the platforming part of the game since, in them, you will be required to jump and swing between different surfaces. Others will make you rack your brain with more complex puzzles. System Of Souls is a game that perfectly combines puzzles and platforming with great graphics. Moreover, it is a title with a very polished finish reminiscent of Valve's proposal, both conceptually and aesthetically.

Camp 1 is a point-and-click graphic adventure that borrows its gameplay and look directly from the genre during the 1990s. As a player, you'll assume the role of Korski, the pilot of an intergalactic mining expedition on an unknown planet (or asteroid) who, at the beginning of the adventure, is collecting his things to return home. Soon after the adventure begins, after you familiarize yourself with the game's traditional control system, the situation goes awry. Your character realizes that if he really wants to make it home, he'll have to use all of his (your) resourcefulness. The most important aspects of any graphic adventure are the story and the puzzles, and Camp 1 does both of these nicely. The game's story is gripping and interesting, and it's particularly enhanced by the oppressive setting. In terms of puzzles, despite being simple at times, for the most part they are challenging but within reason. Camp 1 is a medium-length graphic adventure game (it's not particularly long), with charming pixelated graphics and an interesting story.

Fame is an RPG that, despite taking material straight from roguelike classics like Ancient Domains of Mystery or Castle of the Winds, goes above and beyond these games by offering an enormous role-play game in every respect. The first thing to do before starting your adventure is create your character. And from this moment you'll already see Fame's depth. Not only can you select the name, class, attributes, and gender of your hero, you can also choose their age and some special characteristics, such as whether they're missing an arm or a leg. As you create your character you can also choose whether you want permadeath or the possibility to bring your character back to life. If you choose the first option, you'll get the proper roguelike experience. Fame's level of detail goes as far as your character not being able to read signs if, while creating your hero, you chose that he would be illiterate. Of course, this is something you won't be able to do either if it's nighttime and you don't have a flashlight. Add to all these small details a very solid, traditional role gameplay where you talk with loads of characters, receive missions and assignments from them, buy and sell objects, and, of course, fight with tons of creatures. The combat system, as usual, is turn-based. When it's your turn you can choose to attack with the weapon you're carrying, use one of the objects in your inventory (like potions), cast spells ... or run away. Fame is an RPG that's full of possibilities. It has a long and interesting story and very solid gameplay. Even though the graphics aren't exactly excellent, this is an RPG that every fan of the genre will like.

Median XL is a mod for Diablo II that significantly alters the gameplay experience, changing some of the weaker aspects of the original title and adding a lot of new content, especially during its final stretch. The mod even includes several improvements, such as higher resolutions, support for D2DX (another popular mod), general interface improvements and lots of new keyboard shortcuts. It is worth noting that to play Median XL you will first need to have Diablo II and its expansion, Lord of Destruction, installed. Fortunately, it is very easy to buy the original game directly from the official website of its creators, at a very affordable price. Note that this mod is for classic Diablo II, not for the more recent Diablo II Resurrected, with which the mod is incompatible. One of the most striking aspects of Median XL, especially for veterans who have already played the original Diablo II on more than one occasion, is the inclusion of new skill trees. Each of the game's classes, from the barbarian to the necromancer and the amazon, have a lot of new skills that, when combined, will give you the possibility of creating totally unique builds. All these skills, of course, have their own icon and, in some cases, with completely new and spectacular effects. In addition to new skills, as it could not be otherwise, the mod also adds thousands of new items and relics that you can get from chests, killing enemies or crafting them. And here is where we find another of the most striking changes of the mod: its new crafting system. Thanks to this interesting new feature, you will be able to define the statistics you want to improve within each object thanks to the Mystic Orbs. You will also be able to customize your equipment as never before. As if all these improvements were not enough, Median XL adds completely new regions to the game. You will be able to visit new realms of Hell, as well as new devastated cities, all of them from the original game lore (such as Duncraig or Toraja). In addition, many of these new areas will become especially important during the final stretch, which has been greatly expanded with fifty additional missions and several new bosses. Median XL is an absolutely spectacular mod for Diablo II that manages to do something that in the 2000s probably seemed impossible: improve and expand one of the best ARPGs in history. The mod also has a colossal and very active online community, with numerous servers located on different continents, where special events are held from time to time. A real gift for fans of this Blizzard classic, who should not wait a second longer to download it.

Dink Smallwood is very peculiar RPG that differs from other titles in the genre mainly in that instead of embodying a knight in shining armor, a master assassin or a powerful magician, you have to play the role of a pig farmer. With this character it's not too difficult to guess that the game's story line, despite the inclusion of a fantasy realm full of dragons and other creatures typical of this sort of world, revolves around your sense of humor. That is, your protagonist can punch chickens and make passes at the girls down the pub... while also still having to save the world, obviously. The gameplay, story line and setting aside, this game resembles the vast majority of traditional RPGs. That is, you have different attack, defense, and magic attributes, your standard life bar, and – of course – weapons you can use during your adventures. Dink Smallwood is a very fun RPG that won't just keep you entertained but will also elicit a good laugh or two with its excellent sense of humor.

Crisis Evil is a beat 'em up where you can choose between playing as Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine to face off against the unending hordes of zombies infesting Raccoon City. Gameplay is very simple: you have to kill anything that steps in your path without thinking twice. And there are plenty of enemies to go around: at first, there are only zombies, but soon dogs and 'lickers' show up to join the fray. Each character has his or her own special abilities, and is controlled in a different way. Chris punches and kicks and only brings out his shotgun when he performs a special attack (forward, forward, attack). Jill, on the other hand, always uses her pistol, and takes out a knife for her special attack. Crisis Evil is a pretty entertaining arcade game that, despite the attraction it has from using elements from the Resident Evil saga, ends up getting a little monotonous. The problem: too many zombies that are too strong and appear too frequently.

CRSED: F.O.A.D is a third-person shooter action video game of the battle royale genre with a touch that makes it stand out: the heroes you control have superpowers you can use in the game. Each of the characters in CRSED: F.O.A.D has different abilities represented as superpowers that will be a strategic point for the course of your game. The control system of CRSED: F.O.A.D is the usual one in third-person shooter video games. With the camera on your character's back, you will see the map you will explore until you win the game. You will control your hero with the WASD keys and move the camera by sliding the mouse. To interact with the objects, you will use the "F" key, and, to use the weapons, you will use both the right and left clicks of your mouse. In order to change the weapons you want, you will use the mouse scroll button, which will allow you to switch between melee and ranged weapons. Other buttons on the keyboard will give you access to the map to preview the area you are in and allow you to investigate your inventory of objects— full of weapons, food, or equipment that will protect you from the shots of other players. As usual in the battle royale genre, your main objective is to beat the other 100 players in your game. To do this, you must try to survive on a map full of resources and buildings to investigate, and that will protect you from enemies. This video game is available for several platforms: PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, XBOX, Android, and PC. Thanks to the realism of its weapons and the elaborate three-dimensional design, it is considered one of the best battle royale titles. You will live very striking situations with the superpowers of the characters you control and even the satanic rituals you can perform in the game. Black magic is very present in the CRSED: F.O.A.D setting since it is one of the most interesting points of this video game.

The Lost Vikings is a puzzle and platform game in 2D that appeared first in 1992; more than 20 years later, Blizzard Entertainment has decided to distribute it completely for free. In The Lost Vikings you control three different vikings, each of them with their own special abilities. Your mission is to escape the clutches of a mysterious alien race that has kidnapped you and your clan, and then go back home. Thanks to the different skills that the three main characters have, you can face all the challenges in each level. One of your vikings, for instance, can attack with the sword and the bow; while the other can run and jump. It's important to have in mind that you can't control the three characters at the same time, so you have to alternate them, and use them by combining their abilities. The Lost Vikings was an excellent puzzle and platform game when it was first released, and it still is now that it is free. Besides, the emulation through DosBox, which is incorporated in the file, is almost perfect.

BrainSplode! is a puzzle game where your goal is to explode all the alien brains nested throughout the different levels that make up the main campaign. That said, in BrainSplode! you don't have to attack using a space soldier or anything like that. Instead, you have to shoot a sophisticated rocket-launcher that's fixed on a certain point of the map. You also have to keep in mind that things like gravity and the terrain affect how you should aim. You not only have to mind gravity and how your missiles can bounce against specific type of surfaces. You also have to use different power-ups to make your missiles go faster, use parachutes, etc. Visually, BrainSplode! is not a surprising title, but it's still nice to look at. The combination of colors, together with cartoon-like animations, make it all really wonderful. BrainSplode! is an entertaining and original puzzle game. It offers a good challenge for all those who need a good test of intelligence and skill.

HearthStone is a collectable card game where you can face off against opponents from all over the world in exciting card battles where strategy and planning are the key to victory. The playing system in HearthStone is similar to other titles of the genre, like Magic: The Gathering. You receive an additional mana point each turn, which allows you to play more cards. You can call on creatures to attack your opponents, cast powerful spells, and combine all of your abilities to perform powerful moves that will finish off your enemy and all of their health points. You can play in individual duels over the Internet, or try your hand against the computer - but maybe the most interesting playing mode is the Arena, where you are assigned a random deck of cards and must try to survive the greatest number of duels using just that. The most important part of HearthStone may be the battles against other players, but it's not the only part of the game. Collecting the cards themselves is also very important, and you can even buy packs of cards to add to your deck. To get the money needed to buy more cards, you need to win your battles... or pull out your wallet and pay with real money. Guybrush Threepwood, the spacey but intrepid pirate created by Ron Gilbert, returns in this series of graphic adventures that have managed to revive one of the best video game sagas in history. In this episode, Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal (the first of five parts), Guybrush inadvertently ends up infecting almost the whole Caribbean pirate population with a voodoo sickness that transforms them into monsters. Of course, he does it all with the 'help' of LeChuck, his eternal foe. The adventure, which has traditional gameplay, continues with the great sense of humor that made the saga famous, including the same crazy situations and touch of romance with the ever-charming Governor Elaine. The game's graphics aren't all that impressive, but its caricature-like character styles fit perfectly with the storyline. Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is just the beginning of an excellent graphic adventure series that, while it may not be at the same heights as the original trilogy, is still worthy of the comparison.
