For instance, you can burn your enemies' fields so their soldiers starve to death, or use the sea to your advantage. Hegemony: Philip of Macedon is an entertaining strategy game. Interestingly, it was developed by a small team of only five people.

Black Ice

Black Ice Software LLC

Black Ice, in the words of its developer, is the result of mixing the gameplay of Borderlands with the aesthetic of Tron. And that's exactly it: a first-person role-playing and shooting game where you have to hack computer systems and beat back enemies in equal measures. Gameplay is simple: you hack systems according to your level, with the goal of annihilating any and all viruses living inside. To do that, you'll need to make use of a good arsenal of weapons and, above all, your multiple abilities. The more enemies you kill, the more experience you earn - experience that you can use to raise your character's level. Like in any RPG, when you gain levels you can choose which abilities and attributes you want to improve. It's an important decision, and one that will determine your character's style. Black Ice is set in an open world with a cyberpunk aesthetic, where you need to try to hack any system that you can see. Of course, getting yourself involved with a system that's above your pay grade will almost certainly result in your death. Black Ice is an excellent first-person action and role-playing game, with surprisingly deep gameplay. And in addition to everything else, it has great graphics and a fantastic (Tron-styled) soundtrack.

Using your ability to move small elements from one side to another, you have to solve almost all the puzzles you find throughout your short adventure, which lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. This short duration explains why the game doesn't have a save feature. This might turn off some players but it doesn't really make any difference as long as you have a good amount of time to play. Epacse is a fun and original platformer with some rather simple retro graphics but a gameplay that's worth trying out.

New Star Soccer 5 is a soccer simulator in which, instead of managing an entire team like you can do on FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer, or playing the role of coach and president like on Football Manager, you will become just one young player recently signed by a team. Before beginning the game, the team that you select will do a test to determine your initial skills. Once you pass, you will be signed and will begin your adventure, which will include much more than simple soccer games. And, despite the nucleus of the game being the games in which you only control your player, during the week you can participate in tons of activities necessary for developing your avatar--from shopping at stores for cell phones, new clothes, cars, or housing to going to a casino to bet the money you earned during the game. You will also have to participate in special training to improve your skills, become famous by scoring goals and providing assists, maintain an elevated level of happiness, and, of course, try to forge publicity contracts that will farm you more money. Visually, New Star Soccer 5 is very good, despite using a retro pixilated style, it has some very admirable animation and attention to details. New Star Soccer 5 is a very, very fun soccer simulator whose only catch is that you can only play five games per day. Of course the positive side of this is that it is completely free. You can pay, it is true, to have additional games, although it isn’t necessary.

The main obstacle will be the storage room, which is full of challenges and chaos that will hamper your main goal— to create cute hats and sell them to spooky spirits. It is a game that mixes store management with the casual and dungeon crawl genres in order to create a fun pick-up-and-play experience where you can dive in for 10 minutes as well as 2 hours— all while enjoying an aesthetically pleasing spooky cute art style. In the bridge between the living and the dead, Death decided to make a hat shop for the misguided souls so they could enter the next world with class. As time passed, Death felt the number of working hours in her body, so she hired an intern to do her job while she could go on vacation. The store turns out to be very cozy, bright, and spacious, although somewhat cluttered due to the protagonist's personality. In this area, you will find customers milling around while waiting for you to make the hat they so desperately need. In addition, you will find the portrait of Lady Death, with whom you can talk at all times, and to which the protagonist has built a kind of altar to worship her. Finally, behind the counter, you find the back room or work area, where you will have to create the hats using the requested ingredients and the different crafting tables.

However, Doom’s engine is useless on its own; in order to play, you need a resource file called IWAD that contains all of the game’s data: textures, graphics, sounds, music, enemies, etc. The purpose of FreeDoom is to build a resource file from scratch that stores a completely new game. FreeDoom consists of 32 scenes and three difficulty levels, all completely original resources that don’t violate the rights of the author of the original game. However, FreeDoom is only an IWAD file, which means you need an interpreter to run the game such as Zandronum or PrBoom.

The Unknown is a first-person horror game where players control a character lost and disoriented deep in some catacombs, from which they'll have to try to escape while keeping their sanity intact. The dungeon is randomly generated as you move through it, such that no two games will be the same. Thanks to this, The Unknown is a very replayable title that always (or almost always) will have a fright awaiting you. You'll find many elements typical of horror games in the various corridors and rooms of the catacombs, such as traces of blood, locked gates, or objects that fall in your path. But what you will really be afraid of is 'the creature', to give a name to whatever is that's in there with you. This ghostly creature will follow you everywhere and, occasionally, attack your mental state. If it manages to send your fear level over 10, your character will go completely insane and you lose the game. The Unknown is a first-person horror game in the same vain as Slender, but offering a slightly different experience. It also has spectacular graphics ... though perhaps a little too dark.

Pandora Saga: Weapons of Balance

ROSSO INDEX K.K.

4 (1007)

Pandora Saga: Weapons of Balance is a MMORPG that puts you in the role of one of the many heroes who populate a fantasy world divided into three nations with irreconcilable differences: the Kingdom of St. Pfelstein, The Latugan Empire, and the Varik Confederation. Your object is to try to uncover what happened and why the old Great Empire, ruled over by the King who possessed Pandora, was reduced to ashes. As usual, you'll have to create your hero from scratch. First you need to choose a race: human, elf, dwarf, enkidu (a type of ogre), lapin (a species of imp) or myrine (similar to dark elves). Next, you'll choose which nation you belong to. Lastly, you'll choose a class, between warrior, scout, acolyte, and mage. Each class includes many other sub-classes. Once you have your character created and ready, the adventure begins. You can participate in a ton of different quests, fight against hundreds of enemies (including against other, human players), and carry out many other actions that will help you collect items and experience, all necessary if you want to improve and level-up your character. When it's time to battle, one of the most important elements in a game like this, you can choose if you want to get close for hand-to-hand combat, or launch projectiles from a safe position. You can wield all types of offensive or defensive magic, and even fight from a mount. Graphically speaking, Pandora Saga: Weapons of Balance is a little disappointing. Neither the character models nor the game scenery, or really the artistic design in general, are at the height of the greats of the genre. Still, it delivers its purpose and lower quality enables the game to run correctly on most any machine. Pandora Saga: Weapons of Balance is an interesting MMORPG with a well thought out story and atmosphere and gameplay fun enough to spend hours and hours playing with users from around the world.

The goal of the game is very simple: you have two minutes to cause as much havoc as possible in a room full of objects. Each object you knock down will give you a certain amount of points, and your mission is to reach 100,000, which means throwing many, many things to the floor.
