Platypus

SplineGames.com

2 (1012)

Platypus is a small spaceship arcade game that, despite being pretty simple, is actually extremely addictive. The game, developed in 2D with fun graphics, consists of shooting nonstop throughout various levels at enemies that will attack without respite. To control your ship you can use your mouse or keyboard. The controls are limited to dodging and shooting, so you shouldn't have any problems figuring them out. As you advance through different levels and worlds, enemy squadrons will be harder and harder to avoid, and, of course, defeat. Logically, your weapons will also improve, and rounds of the game can end up being especially long because you have three chances to restart from the same point after dying. As you can see, Platypus hasn't invented anything new, but at least you know that a good time is guaranteed.

The GameLoop tool from the Tencent studio lets you run Android games on PC. This installer downloads its own emulator along with Geometry Dash Lite (Gameloop), letting you play on Windows by adapting its control system to mouse and keyboard. You don't need any special knowledge, as the tool automatically installs everything you need to play itself. Geometry Dash Lite (Gameloop) is a rhythm-based platform game where you must try and reach each level's end while dodging many obstacles in time to the music. It won't be easy, though. You'll have to jump from platform to platform, avoid spikes, bounce on glowing floating points, and keep a cool head and steady pulse even during quiet moments. The controls in Geometry Dash Lite (Gameloop) are extremely simple, but this doesn't mean that the game itself is. Your only form of interaction with your square block character is to tap a key to make it jump. That's it. So, with these simple controls, you will have to perform an absolutely incredible choreography of jumps to the beat of the music. You will only be able to reach the end of each level if you learn how to master its layout. This version of the game is 100% free, but because of this, it has fewer unlocked levels than the normal Geometry Dash, which you have to pay for. Even so, the game's high difficulty means it will probably take a long time to reach the end of all the available levels. Similarly, this version of the game has fewer skins for you to play with, though you can unlock different colors for your "character" to add a bit of variety to the game. Geometry Dash Lite (Gameloop) is one of the most fun, addictive, and fast-paced rhythm games out there. The game is difficult and requires your full attention, but it will also give you huge satisfaction when you manage to complete a level perfectly, without any mistakes whatsoever.

In Zombie Tsunami (GameLoop)'s living dead race, you will also come across different vehicles and other obstacles that will hamper scoring points and experience. To destroy these objects, you will need to increase the number of zombies you control to exceed the number required by the object. For example, cars need four of your zombies to be destroyed. If you don't have this number of zombies when you come across the vehicle, you will have to dodge it to avoid losing those you do have. During the race, every now and then you'll come across different power-ups that will help you progress. Zombie Tsunami (GameLoop) is a very fun video game where you can spend some time with these lovely companions: hundreds of zombies.

Super Smash Bros Crusade

Project Crusade Team

2 (1018)

Super Smash Bros Crusade is a fun fighting fangame inspired by the Super Smash Bros. saga, in which players can control a cast of more than seventy different characters from all types of media. Here you will find some of the most famous faces in video game history, such as Ryu, Kirby, Sonic, Rayman, Snake or Samus, but also big names in manga and anime such as Goku, Vegeta or Agumon. And even the occasional meme character, such as Weegee. The history of Super Smash Bros Crusade dates back to 2008, when a team of only three people started working on the project. Two years later, in 2010, they released the first public demo. Since then, the development of the game has continued on a more or less regular basis, incorporating more than a hundred people into a colossal project, involving dozens of programmers, artists, dubbers, musicians, and much more. In Super Smash Bros Crusade you will find several different game modes, both for single player and for playing with friends. Multiplayer allows up to six players to participate in exciting pitched battles, either a free-for-all or in teams. In addition, although the game does not include native support for online play, you will be able to use external tools such as Parsec to do so. As far as single-player modes are concerned, you will be able to enjoy the Classic Mode, in which you will have three lives to reach the final boss; and the Training Mode, in which you will be able to improve your skills with each character. Speaking of characters, that is undoubtedly one of the strengths of Super Smash Bros Crusade. As mentioned above, the game features an overwhelming cast, drawn from a multitude of different video games. Each character also has its own special attacks, its own animations, and its own alternate versions. Some of them even include secret characters. For example, one of the alternative colors of Phoenix Wright, will allow you to play with Miles Edgeworth. If the Super Smash Bros Crusade characters are an important element for the game, the settings are not far behind. As with all Smash titles, each of the settings has its own personality and its own secrets. And here it is no different. Learning the behavior of the different maps in the game is essential to be able to win at higher difficulty levels. Some, like the Tetris setting, can be lethal if you are not very attentive to the pieces falling from the top. Super Smash Bros Crusade is an outstanding video game, which improves with each new version, with each new game mode, with each character and each setting. A true work of art born from the love of video games in general and a saga, Super Smash Bros, in particular.

Pandáctilo is a game that teaches you to type without having to look at the keyboard with a simple system that allows you to progress little by little so you can learn how to use the keyboard with all your fingers. Its simple and colorful graphics give it a particular charm and make it very attractive for children, who can learn almost without realizing it. You can choose to start on any of the levels/lessons straight away, and then learn at your own pace meaning you cannot win or lose. A series of letters fall from the top of the screen and you must press the corresponding keys in the correct order and time while the scoreboard records your success or failure. The player can then keep trying to better their score until they perfect the level. So if you want to move from prehistory to the present age (as represented in the design of each level) you just have to complete each level and convert yourself into a professional typist.

Cowboy with Keyboard

Yahnovec Denis

3 (1042)

Learning through playing has huge advantages. Many studies have shown, for example, that the mind is much more receptive to learning new abilities if you're also having fun. Cowboy with Keyboard makes good use of this idea. It's a type of shooter where you have to type to play, learning how to type without even realizing it. It's set in the Wild West with arcade machines to shoot at, and the levels are increasingly difficult. You start with just a couple of keys and the space bar, and little by little, you end up using all your fingers to type with the entire keyboard. There are western-style windows that align to represent the keyboard. Different villains appear inside each window, and you have to press the corresponding key in order to kill them. But you can't press all the keys at the same time, because innocent citizens will also appear inside the windows, and you don't want to kill them. If you miss a shot, there's a time penalty. Besides three difficulty levels, there are also two game modes: standard and duel. In standard mode, you mainly use your reflexes, since the score depends on how fast you shoot. Because you don't have time to look at the keyboard, you end up learning faster. In duel mode, you have to type with different keys to write complete words in English. Without a doubt, this is a great way to learn how to type. You can create different profiles, too, so different people can play at their own pace. You can also customize the score settings. If you want to learn how to type and be a real sheriff in the Wild West, this is your chance.
