We have tested lots of remakes of Super Mario Bros and games where Mario is the main character, but today we have to highlight this wonderful mix of Super Mario and JetPack. In this addictive game we will move our favorite Italian plumber with arrow keys, but look at his back, he is wearing a water-powered jetpack that allows him fly and fire water drops to the evil fishes that try to kill him. Your goal is to collect the different green parts that will appear on screen and rebuild the famous Green pipe that gives you access to the next level. You will have to show off your skills, because at first it is easy, but it gets harder and harder. You can use the jetpack to fly and fire and when you run out of water you will have to go to the pond and reload it while having a bath. Fantastic adaptation of Mario that will trap you helped by that music that will make you remember old times.

Xdriller is a puzzle game that uses the playable base of Mr. Driller and takes Tux, the Linux penguin, as the main character. The goal of the game is to break bricks to open your way to the end of the map while avoiding other blocks that can crush Tux. Maps are generated from PNG images, so you can create your own maps easily. The game includes three game modes: adventure, limited time, and infinite time. You can choose between two characters: Tux or Fox. Xdriller is a fun game that can spice up a boring day.

Dirty Bit X is a mix of the classic Pong and the mythical arcade Windjammers. The way you play is very similar to Pong, although this time you can move to the front and back too. In addition, you can press the power button when you touch the ball to launch it faster. Each time we do this, we'll load the power bar a bit, and when it's full we'll be able to launch a special fire. Choose the character you like the most: a fast but fragile girl, a big and strong man or a man of medium strength and medium agility. During the game, the only difference in them will be the thickness of the sbar. Dirty Bit X includes two game modes: Vs the computer and Vs other player using the same computer. Althoug the first game mode can be funny, the really funny way to play Dirty Bit X is against your friend to view his face when you win him.

Super Obliteration is a classic arcade game where you have to break all the asteroids on the screen in the shortest time possible. The game has several different types of control: keyboard and mouse, keyboard only, or gamepad. The most convenient and accurate is the first option, where you control your character with the keyboard and your weapon with the mouse, allowing you to move around fluidly as you shoot wherever you want. The aim of the game, as usual for this kind of classic setup, is to get the highest score possible. To do so, you need to finish levels as quick as you can and collect as many objects as possible. Super Obliteration is an easy game to learn but a difficult one to master. The controls might be a bit too old-school for some, but others will love that it feels just like a classic.

Chrono Rage is a fun spaceship arcade game with a retro esthetic where you have to face hundreds of enemy ships while you plow through space shooting non-stop. The game includes a number of different modes: survival mode, where you have to hold out for as long as possible as endless hordes of enemies attack you; challenge mode, which is divided into twenty levels with different scenes and enemies; and bonus modes. While you can play the game using your keyboard, it's designed to be used with an Xbox360 control, which will allow you to get the most out of the game as you try to beat the more than twenty different challenges that are hidden in the game. Chrono Rage is a very fun, addictive arcade game with excellent graphics. You have to at least try it.

Ultratron is a simple third-person action game where you play a tiny robot whose sole aim is to destroy all the other robots. The controls are really simple: just use the WASD keys to move around the screen, and the mouse to aim and shoot. The enemy robots are pretty fast, though, so you better have good aim. The graphics are good and feature a futuristic style with really charming designs for the robots (especially the tiny ones). That and a catchy soundtrack make the game a total joy to play. Ultratron is a fun game. The gameplay is incredibly simple, so anyone can enjoy it regardless of their experience.

Pixel Force Halo is a 2D platform game with graphics similar to the Nintendo 8-bit, obviously inspired by the popular Xbox Halo saga. The game allows you to jump, shoot, and use different weapons against the hoards of enemies that you will have to fight against. Those who follow the saga will quickly recognize the levels and the enemies themselves. Despite the name and the Halo-like graphics you would expect from the title, the gameplay is much more like that of the classics like the 1987 hit Contra than that of Halo itself, which is totally acceptable considering the game's retro style. Pixel Force Halo is a unique adaptation of one of the most popular games in recent years for PC--a very fun game that will make any lover of the Halo saga fall in love.

Fragmentation is quite a simple independent game where your objective is to run through a 3D tunnel while avoiding all the obstacles. To dodge the obstacles, you have to move left, right, jump, crouch, and even change the direction of gravity. This way, the game takes full advantage of the 3D setting. Also, the levels are randomly generated, so you'll never play the same game more than once. Fragmentation is an entertaining, unpretentious game. Ideal for passing the time with quick five-minute rounds.

They Came From Verminest is a traditional spaceship arcade game that, due to its graphics and gameplay, looks like it was developed 20 or so years ago. It heavily draws on Galaga, which becomes quite evident from the moment you start playing. The player controls a spaceship at the bottom of the screen and your goal is to destroy all the alien enemies that constantly appear at the top. Of course, it won’t be an easy task, because there are a lot of them and they're very aggressive. They Came From Verminest rewards skill in a very special way. If you take risks and kill your enemies from a short distance you’ll get more points and medals. Sound- and graphic-wise, the game pays homage to the classics – not only through the graphics in grayscale, but also with the soundtrack that has a lovely retro feel to it. They Came From Verminest is a wonderful spaceship arcade game with an addictive gameplay and devilishly difficult levels that will keep you hooked with their tremendous playability.

Dead Wheels

Dead Wheels is a genuinely unique racing game for many reasons. The first, and possibly most striking, is that, well, the only vehicle you have at your disposal is a shopping cart which is driven by a see through man. The second reason that the game stands out is that the main goal, quite simply, is to survive and reach the finish line. To do so you have to guide the cart down a huge downhill course avoiding passing cars, which can make things very difficult. If any of these cars crash into your cart, it is more than likely that you will end up flying through the air as a makeshift 'pilot'. Moreover, if you turn too sharply your driver will fly off spinning through the air, so you really do have to be very careful. Dead Wheels is a really fun game that, despite not having much depth, provides moments of real hilarity thanks to some truly spectacular crashes.

Bear Surfin Mega Wave is an eccentric, crazy, and fun arcade game where you play a drunk partying bear who, when he sees a giant wave approaching, can't resist the urge to surf it. This wave is not exactly free of dangers. Its waters hide all sorts of things that can hurt your character, who starts the game with three hearts, or life points. Sharks will try to eat you, explosive mines will throw you up in the air, missiles will fly over the screen: everything is against you. Papercoaster is a unique game in which your goal will be to trace the path of a roller coaster with a pencil, then watch as your track is created, before riding it. The gameplay in Papercoaster is divided into two very different parts. In the first you will have to use the left and right mouse buttons to guide a pencil through a maze trying to collect all the stars without touching the walls, if you do you will have to start again from the last checkpoint. In the second part of the game, possibly the most colourful and fun of the two, you'll see your outline become a roller coaster. Then you will get to control the car: you can accelerate and brake, and the goal, of course, is to get to the finish line in one piece. Papercoaster is a pretty fun title with some really nice graphics. During the outlining you will get a simple and attractive two-dimensional view, and during the roller coaster section you will have a very colourful display with some really vibrant graphics.

Hyper Princess Pitch is a shooting game that combines the extremely fun mechanics of the classic 'Smash TV' with the craziness and frenzy of the so-called 'Bullet Hell' games, which is a sub-genre of arcade games that pitch players against an impossible amount of enemy fire. The story of Hyper Princess Pitch places you in the shoes of a princess whose main goal is nothing less than preventing Santa Claus and his elves from delivering gifts to children all around the world. The reason for this? She didn't get any gifts when she was a child. Of course, in this story, Santa Claus and his little helpers are all robots, so you don't have to feel very sorry about destroying enemies left and right once you start the game. Your character's main weapon is an infinite brick launcher with a ton of destructive power, but she also has other weapons including a freeze ray gun and even a rainbow gun. In addition, you can also put some enemies in a headlock. Game of Thrones The 8-bit Game is based on the popular television series 'Game of Thrones', which in turn is based on the popular saga 'A Song of Ice and Fire'; in it players are able to control different characters from the universe created by George R.R. Martin. All stages in the game are in two dimensions and have very similar gameplay. You can jump, and you can use normal attacks and magical attacks, although the actions do vary depending on the character you´re using. John Snow, for example, can bear more blows than Daenerys, but his sword attacks fall short of Daenerys' fireballs. However, John´s magic allows him to release 'Ghost', his dire wolf, upon his enemies. Apart from all the regular levels, which can last for around five minutes each, the game also features a few bonus stages, in which you can, for example, torture certain characters using Ramsay Snow. Game of Thrones The 8-bit Game is a fun action-platform game, which is even more appealing to fans of the TV series or books, as it allows you to control some of their most charismatic characters.

Beats of Rage is a beat'em up where you choose between three characters and walk down the streets of a dangerous city throwing punches left and right. What's so special about Beats of Rage is that it led to the rise of the OpenBOR engine, which is now used for almost every beat'em up played on Windows. You can choose between three main characters: Max Bacon, Mary Bluegard, or Kula Gem. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, Max is very strong but also very slow. As you play, you'll travel to several different scenarios, both indoors and outdoors, and confront dozens of different enemies taken from SNK games. Besides the usual enemies, there are also bosses which are much harder to defeat. Beats of Rage is a simple and fun beat'em up. Despite not having a good story or a lot of characters, it's still super entertaining for one or two players. It's a traditional recreational action game.

We Want You

We Want You is a vertical arcade game where you play a soldier who must make his way down a level full of enemies, killing everyone in his path using all the weapons he can find. Players can use up to 10 different weapons, including machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, and even flamethrowers that will let you incinerate your enemies at long-range. On top of that, you can use mines with which you could easily destroy the entire level. The main goal of the game is to descend relentlessly until you meet an honorable death. Of course, the most important thing is to reach that point having knocked down as many enemies as possible and having discovered all the different types of levels in the game. We Want You is an easy and fun action platformer that hides its addictive gameplay behind simple graphics.

Smash Face Volley is an odd sports game in which you control a series of fun characters in wild volleyball games where the losers have to weather a literal shitstorm. There are fifteen different playable characters in all. If you play alone, you'll get to see a funny special sequence about each character after you beaten enough opponents. Still, the best way to play Smash Face Volley is with another friend on the same computer. Playing multiplayer won't reward you with the special scenes, but it's nice to play against a human since the computer is often way too difficult. Smash Face Volley is a fun sports game that gives you some of the most entertaining volleyball games you can imagine.

Crisis Evil

Crisis Evil is a beat 'em up where you can choose between playing as Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine to face off against the unending hordes of zombies infesting Raccoon City. Gameplay is very simple: you have to kill anything that steps in your path without thinking twice. And there are plenty of enemies to go around: at first, there are only zombies, but soon dogs and 'lickers' show up to join the fray. Each character has his or her own special abilities, and is controlled in a different way. Chris punches and kicks and only brings out his shotgun when he performs a special attack (forward, forward, attack). Jill, on the other hand, always uses her pistol, and takes out a knife for her special attack. Crisis Evil is a pretty entertaining arcade game that, despite the attraction it has from using elements from the Resident Evil saga, ends up getting a little monotonous. The problem: too many zombies that are too strong and appear too frequently.

In addition to the thirty playable characters, you'll come across other helpful characters along your adventure that are sure to lend you a hand. Marvel First Alliance is a fun arcade game where you can play as some of the most famous Marvel characters ever created. Not only that, but you can recruit your friends to play in a cooperative multiplayer mode with up to three characters.

At the beginning of the game, you can choose between three different types of wizards: fire, water, or dark. Each comes with four different spells that will allow you to, for example, throw fireballs and meteors, or icy tornados - all depending on who you choose, naturally. Each time you kill an enemy you'll get precious stones, which you can later use to buy items in the magic tower. There, you can buy upgrades that will make your wizard more powerful, so that the last waves of dark enemies will be a breeze to destroy. Visually, Risk of Death uses an 8 bit aesthetic that fits perfectly with this simple, direct, casual game. A typical game shouldn't last more than five minutes. Risk of Death is a fun, addicting arcade game that gives you various wizards and levels of difficulty to choose from, so there is always a new way to confront the numerous dangers that you will face in each level.

Protocol is an action and speed arcade game where players control a fugitive who is escaping by motorcycle, while tons of security androids try to knock him off the road. Players can control the direction of the motorcycle with the arrow keys, while they can use the mouse to point and shoot their laser gun. However, the laser gun can only be shot in a straight line, so you'll have to be parallel to the androids to finish them off. Of course, things will be easier at the beginning, where you only have to face small androids. But you will soon have to confront rival motorcycles and larger robots. Luckily, you can also improve your weapons, moving from the first laser gun to much more devastating machines. Protocol is an entertaining game whose strong point is its spectacular graphics, whose every pixel reminds you of cyberpunk. It's not for nothing this game was shown at Gamejolt's Cyberpunk Jam.

P.O.W. 20th Anniversary

P.O.W. 20th Anniversary is actually two beat'em up games in one. On the one hand you have the original P.O.W. 20th Anniversary remake, with its original graphics; on the other hand you have the 2010 version of Prisoner of War, with revamped graphics inspired on King of Fighters. Each one of the games included in P.O.W. 20th Anniversary has its own story and its own characters, so they really are two completely different games that simply share gameplay and the setting. P.O.W. 20th Anniversary's gameplay is, of course, the same as any classic beat'em up developed using OpenBOR: you must go through several enemy-infested levels while destroying them with kick and punches. Just in case playing solitaire isn’t fun enough, P.O.W. 20th Anniversary offers a co-op mode for two players in which each one controls one of the main characters. P.O.W. 20th Anniversary is a very fun beat'em up that serves as a fine tribute to the great SNK classic from the late eighties.

Rock N' Roll Racing is an overhead perspective racing game where you can participate in wild races with another three cars, aiming to get to the finish line in one piece. Rock N' Roll Racing came out in 1993, and after more than 20 years Blizzard Entertainment has now decided to distribute it for free. This version of the game uses DosBox executable files to ensure it works on any modern version of Windows. In Rock N' Roll Racing you can try to destroy the rest of the competitors, or just try to get to the finishing line in one piece without crashing into any other cars. In between races, you can invest the money you earn on new parts for your car: new engines, wheels, spoilers, etc. Rock N' Roll Racing is a fun racing game with a super addictive gameplay. You can play it alone against the AI, or with other human players on the same computer.

Classic videogames don't go out of fashion. In this case, we have a remake of Frantic Freddie, a platform game launched in 1983 for the 8-bit Commodore 64, reminiscent of iconic games such as Lode Runner and Donkey Kong. Its main features are the same as the classic version: a frantic game where you have to pick up all the apples before you get caught, making your way through different settings connected by ladders brimming with enemies. The game will put your strategic thinking and mental skills to the test, because not all ladders go up or down and not all enemies move in a logical way. To get a good amount of points, you'll have to be alert. In the 20 different levels, it'll be essential to get as many points as you can in order to escape the enemies that try to surround you. You’ll have to run as far as you can and beat the level in less than 1000 moves. The higher score you get, the higher you'll be in the ranking.

Sabotime is a game inspired by classic arcade games where you play a ninja whose aim is to destroy a bunch of buildings and fly a helicopter with the help of no more than his shurikens and jumping, fighting, and agility skills. The game is not divided into levels, nor do you have a set amount of time to achieve your aims. You just have to move through the different rooms and locations nonstop, day and night, and with just one life. If you die, you start all over again from zero. So make sure you aim well at your targets and kill your enemies before they kill you. Though it might seem simple at first, Sabotime puts your skills to the test with tasks that are essential for making it to the end successfully. You have to find eight floppy disks, ten keys, and some plasma cubes that let you make your way through Japanese homes, underground caves, forests, labs, and factories. In all of them you'll find enemies that attack you instantly. Throw your shurikens and win at Sabotime like a proper ninja.

Let's just say, There's Poop in my Soup is a peculiar sort of game. Your objective is to throw poop at people who are walking by on the sidewalk. The only limitation in this game is that you'll only have access to 25 poops, so you have to try to make the most of each of them to hit your pedestrians the hardest. One of the best parts of the game, besides throwing poop at people's heads, is throwing poop at things. For example, you can throw poop at someone's dish while they're outside eating soup. You can throw poop at a kid's ice cream cone while they're eating it. You can even throw poop at babies. There's Poop in my Soup is a truly disgusting video game, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun.
