Silver Night's Crusaders is a spectacular fangame inspired by the Castlevania saga, in which you can choose between three completely original characters. The story and the development of the game, moreover, are adapted so that you can play both solo and in coop mode, with a friend playing on the same computer (both using the same keyboard or with gamepads). Unlike in the more traditional Castlevania, in Silver Night's Crusaders you will find a good handful of action buttons at your disposal. In addition to the classic jump and attack buttons, you will have three additional buttons: dodge, spell and extra. Depending on the character you are controlling, each of these buttons will allow you to perform a different type of skill or spell. From the main menu of the game, you can also take a look at some combos and special attacks that you can perform with each hero, as they have different skillsets. The story mode of Silver Night's Crusaders is quite extensive and will allow you to go through a multitude of levels full of enemies. Some of these levels and enemies will be very familiar to fans of the Castlevania franchise, while others are completely new, with pixel-art created for the occasion. The same goes for some of the NPCs you will meet throughout the adventure. Throughout the story you will be able to interact with more than half a dozen original characters and all of them have a professional quality dubbing. Although the story mode is the main attraction, it is not the only game mode that you will find in Silver Night's Crusaders. Once you finish the main adventure, you will be able to unlock two additional modes: Free Play and Bloody Arena. In Bloody Arena mode, for example, you will be able to face all the final bosses of the game, one after the other, with the objective of finishing them in the shortest time possible. In short, it is a manual 'boss rush mode', perfectly integrated into the game. Silver Night's Crusaders is an excellent fangame of the Castlevania saga developed in OpenBOR, which offers a fabulous game experience, both for one and two players. An outstanding title that has nicely polished graphics, good dubbing, additional game modes, compatibility with Xbox and Playstation controllers, and that, in general, offers a similar experience to some of the official titles of the franchise.

Castlevania Chronicles II - Simon's Quest is an outstanding fan-game that not only manages to modernize one of the most beloved games from the Castlevania saga but also manages to improve it. It's also worth mentioning that it has a powerful soundtrack with some spectacular metal remixes. In short, it's a real treat for fans.

Pokémon Uranium is a real treasure for fans of the Pokémon saga, who will be pleased to discover a game that's both refined and full of surprises. The graphics are also slightly improved in comparison to previous installments in the saga.

Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead is a 'roguelike' game set in a post-apocalyptic world where the players have to try to survive while overcoming all of the problems that they encounter on their cursed adventure. At the beginning of the adventure, you emerge from your nuclear shelter and find yourself in a devastated world where mutant zombies will be the least of your problems. It's not just that there are more dangerous creatures in the world, but also that you will face more immediate problems like hunger and exhaustion. The gameplay for Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead can vary a lot depending on the type of characters you create and the circumstances that arise during the adventure (random or user-selected). You can try to go to the forest and live far away from all of these problems... or go to town to try to find supplies... or even construct a fortress to protect you from attackers. Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead is a wonderful, gigantic role-playing game, whose complexity leaves many other similar games in the dust. The only problem is that, just like with many other 'roguelike' gmaes, the graphics are very basic and are made up entirely of ASCII characters. If you can get past this setback, you will find yourself in front of an almost never-ending game.

FNaF World is an RPG with a turn-based combat system where the protagonists are the characters from the popular horror franchise Five Nights at Freddy's. Yes, those famously terrifying animatronics and all their friends: they're the protagonists. FNaF World's story is just as crazy as its cast of characters permits. Basically you play more than 40 characters from the FNaF universe as they embark on an adventure through a fantasy world shared with other evil creatures. Nothing makes any sense, but nor does the game try very hard in this respect. FNaF World's gameplay is the one typically found in the JRPG genre. In other words, you manage a group of characters, level them up, equip them with different objects, etc. The battles, just like how they used to be in JRPGs from the 90s, are random and annoying; and they're turn-based. FNaF World is an entertaining but improvable JRPG. Fans of the Five Nights at Freddy's saga will undoubtedly like the game, but it only takes half an hour of playing to realize that it's an outdated title in every respect.
