Try to solve a letter soup where a word starts on the up side and finishes on the down side. Try to solve different problems, test your brain, it is different and it will like you. Aeons is a first-person shooter with plenty of elements borrowed (or directly lifted) from mid-90s classics of the genre, like Doom, Hexen, and Heretic. The game's plot is simple: an alien race is trying to conquer planet Earth, and it has a super-powerful weapon it will use to do so. Your objective is to find that weapon and destroy it at all cost. You'll find plenty of different weapons to use along your short adventure, starting with a bayonet (for hand-to-hand combat) and a shotgun, and soon graduating to a rocket launcher, a nail gun, and a biological weapon. Aeons is a simple, fun first-person shooter that is sure to bring back some good memories of the genre's older games. The game also includes four levels of difficulty, one of which is truly nightmarish.

SMS Racing is a very peculiar racing game where your goal is to drive while writing text messages on a cellphone. A task that is as dangerous as it is tricky - which is reflected perfectly in this game. You control the car with the keyboard and can accelerate, brake and turn, while the mouse is used to write messages on the cellphone. These messages are usually short and simple, like 'OMFG' or 'haha' but you only get a maximum of 10 seconds to write them. The objective is to complete the circuit while getting all the messages on the cellphone in time, and this proves quite difficult to achieve without crashing the car at least a few times. SMS Racing is a fun and completely unique racing game. While the main goal is still to drive as fast as possible, the difference, with respect to other titles in the genre, is that you also have to be very skilled at using the mouse to send messages while controlling the car.

Space Mercs - Demo is a PC action game that takes you to space so you can live thrilling spaceship battles. It's great 3D visuals and soundtrack will quickly submerge you in super realistic battles. Use the main menu to access the different game modes. There's a main mode that challenges you to complete interesting missions and you get to choose different settings. On the other hand, there's also a mode that challenges you to face quick rounds. You can also choose the keys that'll help you control your spaceship. Shooting is very easy because you can use your mouse, so the entire process is really user-friendly. The shooting sequence is spectacular at times, and you have to pay close attention to your enemies in order to make sure you spaceship doesn't explode. If you can actually complete each mission in the campaign mode, you'll score a bunch of points that'll help you unlock new spaceships and challenges. Keep an eye on the life and energy bars located on the lower left side of the screen. These will help you keep all your adrenaline under control. Space Mercs - Demo is a really easy way to have fun while you participate in impressive 3D space battles. The easy controls and bunch of missions and spaceships you can unlock will entice you to keep participating in the battles.

Project Adventure Game is a two-dimensional platform and adventure game along the lines of the traditional Metroidvania games, in which players have to head inside danger-filled catacombs, making it very similar to the excellent La Mulana. The players have to explore 15 different locations full of enemies and danger. At first, you can only move around (slowly) and make some normal jumps, but as you advance through the story, you can pick up artifacts that give you new skills: double jump, run, swim, etc. In order to defend yourself from your enemies, you also have a good handful of weapons and sub-weapons that you can use whenever you want. And you will need them, as you will have to face five different 'bosses.' A good way to be ready to face the game's toughest enemies is to find the many secret rooms that are hidden in Project Adventure Game, because inside them you will find ways to improve your intrepid protagonist's life. Project Adventure Game is a very fun and very extensive platform game which has a number of things in common with the excellent game La Mulana.

Celestial Mechanica tells the story of a race of mysterious beings who, one day, when humans had taken Earth to the edge of destruction, appeared out of nowhere to give the inhabitants a second chance. One hundred years after this event, one of the beings is unjustly banished to Earth. He doesn't hesitate in doing everything possible to get back to the floating structure that's home to the other members of his race, in order to teach the others that they made a mistake in casting him out. Starting with this backdrop, Celestial Mechanica mixes puzzles, platforms, and adventure with a development that's similar to the Metroid saga games. The main character is a small, friendly robot who has to move carefully around a 2D world full of traps. In this way, your hero will have to face various puzzles if he wants to get back to where he belongs. That said, the vast majority of the puzzles can only be solved once you've developed a specific skill, which you'll discover progressively. Celestial Mechanica is a joint effort of the talents of Roger Hicks (rComplex) and Paul Veer (Super Crate Box). With this collaboration, they've managed to create an engaging adventure with some clever puzzles and a unique personality.

Gloomy Nights And Living Dead is a fun action game where you have to escape from a cemetery that's crawling with zombies and other things that are even more dangerous. The game is made up of 100 maze-like levels in which you'll have to face off against zombies, phantoms, ghosts, and skeletons. Your objective on each level will be to kill all the enemies and to get as many points as possible while doing so. This will be very easy at the beginning, but it'll get much more difficult as you advance. The graphics pay homage to the classic 8 bit Nintendo games, which will bring back some very good memories for the veteran video game players. Gloomy Nights And Living Dead is a very fun one-player game, and a potential addiction in its two-player co-op mode. Earthrune is a third-person role-playing game along the lines of Diablo or Dungeon Siege in which you control Layla, the last line of defense in the Earthrune woods, who has to clear the woods of the corruption that is destroying them. Earthrune's game mechanics are very similar to those of other 3D 'action RPGs' with an isometric perspective. That is to say, players can control Layla with the keyboard and attack their enemies by clicking on them. Now, Earthrune incorporates an interesting puzzle element in its formula. Using the mouse, players can draw runes that allow them to cast powerful spells. These spells not only allow you to fight against your enemies, but are also essential when it comes to solving some puzzles. During your adventure, in addition to facing normal enemies, you will come face-to-face with giant 'bosses' that will make things quite difficult for you. Luckily, your hero will evolve as the game progresses. Earthrune is a very fun role and action game with very good graphics. In addition, it has a story that focused on protecting nature and that everyone will love.

Slayin is an arcade game where you control a small warrior who has to face an endless horde of terrifying monsters on a small setting. It's a pretty common concept, but it offers a rather odd kind of gameplay. Your hero is always moving with his sword pointing ahead, so any enemy that touches you immediately dies. The problem is that the scenario is really small, and there are enemies constantly coming from every side, so you have to move quickly, turn, and jump in order to kill them all before they kill you. When you kill enemies, you also level up and get money. With that money you can buy new weapons, such as longswords and armors to reduce the damage inflicted by the monsters. You can also buy traditional roast chickens in order to regain your health. As you advance in the game and level up, you'll meet new enemies and even some bosses. The minotaur and the little devil are just the first two of many other monsters that stand on your way. Slayin is a simple and addictive arcade game, but it hides quite a lot more content than it seems at first sight. For instance, you can unlock new characters like the thief after you get to a certain level playing with the warrior.

Anodyne is an action, platform, and adventure game with gameplay and aesthetics similar to the Zelda saga. In it you play a young man who ventures through a series of abstract 160x160 pixel rooms that evoke different states of the human mind. In these rooms you'll have to fight many different enemies (including bosses), solve puzzles, or overcome obstacles. To do so you have to count on your own ability and some other surprises that you'll find on your adventure. At the artistic level, Anodyne is an excellent game. The graphics, as mentioned above, are reminiscent of Zelda: A Link to the Past in a very gratifying way (although they actually resemble practically any Super Nintendo game). The soundtrack, for its part, is very evocative and has some remarkable pieces. Anodyne is a very interesting adventure game that, besides being fun and including an addictive gameplay, has an gripping story full of hidden details for more curious players to discover.

It’s more than 3 decades since it came into scene and even nowadays it is played by lots of boys and girls. Plasma Pong is really simple, but you know that when one game is simple it becomes more and more addictive. Moreover if that simplicity is accompannied by good graphic effects. Now you can remember those afternoons you spent in front of the TV or the computer, thanks to this renewed version of Pong, now with more features and colours, so, more fun.

Monsters in the Basement is a strange mix between the gameplay from Pac-Man and the setting from Silent Hill. In it you play the leader of a group of friends trapped inside a maze full of aberrations. The story begins when your young characters enter Doctor Klein's mansion and get trapped in the basement, which ends up being a dungeon full of creatures straight out of hell itself... or, rather, out of the Doctor's most terrifying experiments. Your objective in each level is to collect all the flashlight batteries scattered throughout the basement's corridors, while avoiding the monsters trying to kill you. Normally you'll have to avoid the monsters but sometimes you'll find ammunition that you can use to shoot and kill them. That said, use your ammo with care since it's a limited resource. Monsters in the Basement is a fun Pac Man clone that offers a simple, entertaining gameplay set in an environment that's sure to give you more than one scare.

Kepler452b is a futuristic-looking 'roguelike' set in a space station located near the planet Kepler-452b -- a little over 1,800 light years from earth. Your mission is to find the four keys necessary for returning home. The gameplay in Kepler452b covers all the bases of the genre. All the action takes place by turns, the settings are randomly generated in each round, your character's death is permanent, and the difficulty level is pretty high. This is all in addition to the fact that you have to do everything exclusively using the keyboard. One very interesting element in Kepler452b is that there are various conditions for victory and several different endings, something that's unique for the genre. If you get the four keys but you don't get all the 'intel,' you'll get the first ending. If you get all the 'intel,' you'll get the second ending. If you manage to escape without the four keys you'll get the third ending. You can only see the fourth ending if you completely clear the last level of the game. Kepler452b is an excellent, 'roguelike' with a traditional feel. It offers at atmosphere that's relatively uncommon within the genre, with a classic (but very straightforward) control system, and simple yet elegant graphics.

Custom Wars is an open-source turn-based strategy game that takes a lot of elements from the awesome franchise Advance Wars, exclusive to Nintendo's portable game consoles. This version of the game lets you play against a friend on the same computer (easy since the game is played by taking turns) or online. It's as easy as picking the type of setting and your commanders. The rest of the game is practically the same as the original Nintendo title. You have different types of units that fight better or worse against others. Infantry, air units, naval units, tanks ... each has its own strengths when completing certain tasks. Custom Wars also comes with a very complete level editor that gives you the option to create and share your own maps. You can easily add anything to any scene (if needed, the game's manual explains the controls). Custom Wars is an entertaining turn-based strategy game that, aside from lacking lots of different game modes (there's no story mode), can be really fun to play against a friend.

Through the Dead City is a two-dimensional action and strategy game where you control a survivor of the zombie apocalypse who has to try to survive the never-ending hordes of undead that want to eat his brain. You will control your character using the directional buttons to move and the mouse to aim with the gun. The ammunition is limited so that you will have to search in boxes and bodies to find more bullets. Otherwise you will have to resort to hand to hand combat, something not really recommendable. You do not start the game alone. Accompanying our main character there is a character controlled by the artificial intelligence that normally covers your back in quite an efficient way. Although your companion will act on his own by default, you can also give him orders and even share your equipment (bandages, medicine and weapons) with him, so that he can help you in a more efficient way. Through the Dead City is an entertaining action survival game, that will put the player in the shoes of a survivor that normally won't survive very long, because the zombies of the game are ruthless.

Dungeons of Fayte is a dungeon crawler. In it, you explore a series of dungeons and other scenarios to find the treasure and gain as much experience as possible. Dungeons of Fayte is best if you play with the help of other players. In fact, the cooperative mode can support up to four people simultaneously as long as you have enough controllers to do so, with one on the mouse and two on the same keyboard, for example. The gameplay is reminiscent of RPGs like Diablo. As you advance, you have to kill all the enemies in your way to loot their belongings, take their gold, and improve your character. Dungeons of Fayte is primarily a cooperative RPG, though you can also play and finish it by yourself, if you want. But really, it's much better if you play with a few of your friends.
