Open Fodder is a free, open-source version of the legendary Cannon Fodder that will let you enjoy this Sensible Software classic on modern operating systems. This version of the game comes with four demos, so you just have to install it to play. But, if you add the additional Cannon Fodder files, you can also play the original campaign. The gameplay in Open Fodder is identical to that of the original game. On the left of the screen is a list of all your soldiers, with their rank and the weapons they can use. All you have to do is left-click on any part of the map to move them around, and just right-click to shoot. And little else. Like this, you can go about exploring the different levels in the game and destroying all the enemies. As previously mentioned, the default version of Open Fodder includes four demos that will give you a taste of the full experience of the original game. The game uses the CryEngine 3 engine (the same as Crysis 3) and consequently, offers a spectacular graphic finish very superior to many commercial games. Panzar is an online duel game, which thanks to a simple mechanic oriented to pure action and a spectacular graphic section, has the potential to hook users looking for a direct and entertaining experience.

Most confrontations in Zero-K will last for about a half-hour, with your objective being to finish off the rest of the bands out there (both human and artificial intelligence) so that you have total control of the map. You'll start each game with just one unit: the commander. From there, you'll need to collect resources (metal and energy) so that you can construct a series of factories to build all kinds of new units. There are more than fifty types in all, with land robots, ships, airplanes, and more. Zero-K includes various playing modes. There's the typical melee mode where you'll face off against other users over the Internet, as well as 'Chikens' mode, and the persistent world of 'Planet Wars'. Both are great and get you a lot of extra mileage out of the game. Zero-K is one of the best games out there in terms of real time strategy. Not only is the game totally free, but there are almost always players connected, so you won't have any trouble finding games to play.
