Cuban Crisis is a third-person action game from a bird's-eye view where you have to enter Havana, the capital of Cuba, to end the crisis that's crippling the nation. The game is fairly short, as it consists of only three levels. In each level, you have to get from point A to point B, killing all the enemies that get in your way, who in turn will do their best to fill you with bullet holes. To defend yourself, you have an assortment of weapons to use against your enemies. Of course, you'll also need to find cover, using the objects around you, like cars, boxes, or buildings - otherwise you'll end up dead. Visually speaking, Cuban Crisis is a very impressive game with great character models and detailed environments, plus decent blood and fire effects. Cuban Crisis is a fun third-person action game. Even though it's fairly short, it can keep you entertained for a good while. And, even better: it's free.

Rotational is an arcade game based on the same concept as Super Hexagon, the great indie game from Terry Cavanagh. Rotational adds another layer to the mix, though, to create an even more difficult and fast-paced game. The aim of the game is exactly the same as Super Hexagon: survive as long as you can dodging the shapes that fly at you in the center of the screen. The only difference is that, in Rotational, these shapes are semi-transparent and come from all directions. Rotational is a very, very difficult game where lasting even 20 seconds is a challenge, and more than 40 seconds a superhuman feat. If you make it a full minute, you must have the most cat-like reflexes ever.

Bullet Ride is an interesting game where your objective is to 'surf' a lost bullet that hasn't been able to find its target. Your character rides on top of the bullet, which you have to control as best you can. The game's controls are very simple, you just need to tilt the bullet from one side to the other to dodge the obstacles in your path, and activate the turbo (or super turbo) when you want to get a boost in speed. Now, the turbo is a double-edged sword: if you crash while you're using it, you're in big trouble. One of the game's strongest points - besides the fact that you can use your XBox 360 controller to play it - is its graphics. Not only is the overall aesthetic very elegant, but the models of each object in the game have been very carefully created. Bullet Ride is a fun game, and although it's a pretty short (it only has one big level), it serves up a new experience in which your reflexes and dexterity are your only allies.

Vision Runner is a game of platforms and speed in the first person. In it, players must get from one point on the screen to another in the quickest time possible. The gameplay, in some ways, is very similar to all the Mirror´s Edge clones out there. That is, you must run at full pelt through surreal scenery while jumping huge holes and get Parkour through the levels, which are as beautiful as they are dangerous. Just one false movement and your hero will fall into the abyss. One of the best features of Vision Runner, making up for the lack of available moves, is the creator that allows you to build your own levels and play them in just a few minutes. This way you also get a pretty much infinite number of levels to play. Vision Runner is a really entertaining platformer that, while not having a great number of gameplay options, does have the potential to become a standout Parkour title.

Gaurodan is an arcade game modeled after games from the early nineties in which players are in control of Gaurodan, the legendary thunder bird that is reborn to once again face his fearful arch-nemesis: the fire beast, Guayota. Gameplay is very simple: you have to soar around the skies of quite large (albeit closed) scenes while trying to sow chaos and destruction at your wake. You can destroy enemy buildings, helicopters and tanks and basically shoot at just about anything that moves on the scene. Your winged character has to constantly be on the move, which is quite a challenge for you. Controls also incorporate two different buttons to fire the deadly thunders which Guarodan shoots from his mouth: one for below and another one for horizontal. Gaurodan is a very fun arcade game in which players can, for once, put themselves on the other side of the cannons. This time you control a fearless murderous beast while the artificial intelligence controls the army trying to shoot you down.

A Fistful of Gun is a shooting arcade game set in the old west, where up to three players with different weapons can face off together against hordes of enemies. One player uses the keyboard to control Noah, who carries a shotgun and is best over short distances, while a second player uses the mouse to control Zeke, who is an expert at the sniper rifle. And, if you have an Xbox 360 controller, a third player can enter the game to control Abel and his revolver. The object of the game is to beat various levels filled with tons of enemies trying to stop you. It's not easy. Your characters can kill them with one shot, but your characters will also die if they themselves get hit by one shot, so you have to be very careful when moving around. A Fistful of Gun is a really entertaining shooting game that has found a great way for various players to enjoy the game at the same time.

Zompocalypse is a zombie arcade where your goal is to survive the endless hordes of zombies who are trying to eat you alive. The game has a very simple gameplay: shoot everything that moves on the screen and reload the weapon as quickly as you can to continue shooting. The most interesting part is that the movement of your character is not strictly two-dimensional. It's more like two-and-a-half-dimensional with a little depth so you can move slightly forwards and backwards. Moving like this, you'll have to dodge zombies to buy time in order to recharge your gun. And considering how many zombies you'll have to kill in each level, you'd better be able to move quickly. Zompocalypse is a fairly sparse zombie game that is still very entertaining. It only has a survival mode in which you kill zombies in several different scenarios until the very end, at which point you inevitably end up as a zombie yourself.

Speedrun is a pixelated 'endless runner' in which players start out fleeing from the police in a red convertible. The reason for this is initially a complete mystery, but soon you'll discover that if you don't escape them, the police cars will destroy your vehicle. The game is controlled exclusively with the space bar and the up and down arrow keys. With the first you accelerate and keep ahead of the police, while the others help you dodge traffic. If you crash into other vehicles, your car will deteriorate and the police will catch you. Speedrun is a simple game where you only have one goal: to drive as far as possible to keep the police from catching you. The only negative point about its simple gameplay is that you can't compete on any online leader boards.

Steven Seagal is Hard to SWAT is a 2D arcade game where you control a SWAT assault team headed by Steven Seagal, whose mission is to rescue hostages and kill all the terrorists. The game is a hybrid of real-time and turn-based gameplay. Before every mission, players can choose between several different weapons, even though they all kill with a single shot. One of the weapons that stands out the most is your fists, which in the case of Steven Seagal prove particularly lethal, killing large agglomerations of terrorists if they are at a close range. Steven Seagal is Hard to SWAT is a fun action game, with an attention-grabbing look and a high level of replayability thanks to the many different possibilities you have to face in each mission.

Rogue Assassin is a game of stealth where players have to control an assassin whose mission is to take out the king. But of course, things don’t run exactly smoothly. The first stage of the grand assassination plan is to let yourself get caught doing something serious enough to be sent to jail. You can choose between setting off bombs, running nude through the streets or attacking the guards, among others. All are enough to get you thrown in the dungeon. Once you’re inside, you have to sneak through the different halls of the dungeon until the king arrives. To do this, you have to keep behind the guards, because if they see you they will kill you. You can use the shadows to hide, and you must take lots of care with your movements. Rogue Assassin has a random level generator... but no final level. This means that you will be trying to reach the king forever, but you will never get to kill him. Despite this, the gameplay is fun enough to make a trip into the dungeon worthwhile.

Grand Health Auto is a game with a similar aesthetic and control system to the first Grand Theft Auto, but instead of putting you in the skin of a criminal, you'll be playing as an ambulance driver. Your objective: to save as many of the injured people in the city as you can. The game will always display an arrow pointing toward the location of an injured person. You'll have a limited amount of time to reach them and deliver them to the hospital door, something that's not so easy, thanks to interruptions from other cars and even the victims themselves, who run around like crazy. So you can imagine that one of the biggest challenges in Grand Health Auto is getting to your destination without running over other pedestrians or crashing into other cars. And considering how crowded this city can get, that's no easy task. Grand Health Auto is a short game that's a little lacking in content, although its online classifications may keep you playing for a little longer to see how good you can get, and just how many more lives you'll need to save before you get there.

Legendary Wings is a spaceship arcade game where you have to move through a series of 2D scenarios controlling a spaceship that can destroy almost any enemy that comes its path. And there are lots of them. Throughout each level, you'll find dozens of different enemies and several types of weapons that you can use to fight them. For most of the time, you'll be fighting enemies and changing weapons, the effectiveness of which depends on the situation you're facing. That said, the most surprising thing in Legendary Wings is waiting at the end of each level, when you have to fight the respective final bosses. These come in all shapes and sizes (some are dinosaurs, others seem to be Evangelions or giant robots); they are a far greater challenge than normal enemies, and you need to use all your attack power against them. Legendary Wings is an outstanding spaceship arcade game. It doesn't have particularly good graphics, but it still offers a tremendously addictive traditional arcade experience.

Slayin is an arcade game where you control a small warrior who has to face an endless horde of terrifying monsters on a small setting. It's a pretty common concept, but it offers a rather odd kind of gameplay. Your hero is always moving with his sword pointing ahead, so any enemy that touches you immediately dies. The problem is that the scenario is really small, and there are enemies constantly coming from every side, so you have to move quickly, turn, and jump in order to kill them all before they kill you. When you kill enemies, you also level up and get money. With that money you can buy new weapons, such as longswords and armors to reduce the damage inflicted by the monsters. You can also buy traditional roast chickens in order to regain your health. As you advance in the game and level up, you'll meet new enemies and even some bosses. The minotaur and the little devil are just the first two of many other monsters that stand on your way. Slayin is a simple and addictive arcade game, but it hides quite a lot more content than it seems at first sight. For instance, you can unlock new characters like the thief after you get to a certain level playing with the warrior.

Doom Ultra-Violence is a beat 'em up where you can control the famous protagonist of Doom in a completely different atmosphere. This time around, thanks to the OpenBor engine, you can enjoy Doom as though you were playing a game like Golden Axe or Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. At the beginning of the game, you can choose which weapon you'd like to start with. The shotgun is very powerful but quite slow, while the pistol, for example, doesn't deal as much damage but is a lot faster. Now, just like in a traditional beat 'em up, you can enter combinations of buttons to be able to use the rocket launcher. So using the 'special' button you can gain access to the BFG 9000, which makes destroying the enemies on your screen pure child's play. Graphically, Doom Ultra-Violence is lacking. It may not be one of the best OpenBor games available, but it's sure to please any fans of the Doom franchise.
