Gentlemen Dispute is a very peculiar 2D fighting game where you can participate in duels where your only weapon is the ability to headbutt your opponent using the giant top hats that an English gentleman should wear. The game is exclusively designed to be played by two players, though you don't need to connect any Xbox 360 controller to the computer because both players can use the keyboard. This is because the control system is very simple: you just have one button to jump and one button to headbutt. A normal combat in Gentlemen Dispute finishes when one of the two players has won five rounds. In order to win a round, you have to hit your rival's hat with a strong headbutt. It's not enough to hit him in his body or in the face. You have to knock his hat off. Gentlemen Dispute is a very simple game with a delightful artistic design and very simple features (it only has two characters and one scene). Nevertheless, it has extremely entertaining mechanics. If you have someone who can play the game with you, you shouldn't miss out on this game.

The Old Man and the NSA

The Old Man and the NSA is a simple 2D arcade game with a very silly premise. In it, you control an old fisherman who finds a box of government secrets while fishing. After this discovery, a stranger tries to help him upload the data to the Internet, while the NSA (National Security Agency) tries to stop him. The game is divided into two parts: in the first, you have to order a computer using your radio and set it up; in the second, you have to defend your computer while it uploads the data you found. In the second part of the game, which is much longer and more fun than the first, you have to use the harpoon launcher to destroy anyone who tries to block your Internet connection and, above all else, the NSA agents trying to destroy your computer. If the agents manage to break your computer, you'll have to start again from the first part of the game. The Old Man and the NSA is a crazy and fun arcade game. Although fairly short (it only takes about five minutes to finish), it's still good mindless entertainment.

Super Steering Wheel Man

Super Sterring Wheel Man is a stealth game where players take on the role of a steering wheel salesman who is about to go broke. His solution? To sneak through parking garages breaking fancy cars' steering wheels so that they have to go buy new ones. The game is split into two stages. In the first, you have to hide from flashlight-carrying valet guys who patrol the parking garages. Break into the cars but don't let them see you. The second stage will begin once you're inside the car. Using the arrow buttons, you'll have to destroy the steering wheel. Be careful when you're leaving the vehicle and don't get caught. Super Steering Wheel Man is a game with an original premise. Although it's not extremely fun, it offers a different playing experience and a unique gameplay.

Derez [infinite]

Derez [infinite] is an endless runner where you play an escaped laboratory test subject who has to run across the rooftops of a futuristic city, challenged not just by the empty spaces between buildings but also by your own failing perception. Every second you run, things become less clear. Your vision will get blurred, and it will become difficult to see. To fight this effect, you'll need to collect the power-ups you find floating on the rooftops. You'll also have to avoid the enemies that come flying towards you. If you don't dodge them, you'll get hit and your vision will become even more pixelated, which can prove fatal at high speeds. Your sole goal in Derez [infinite] is to get as far as possible to get a better ranking on the online leaderboards, where you can compare your skills to other players around the world.

Remaddening

Remaddening is a very peculiar 2D 'endless runner' where players face endless levels that are randomly generated as you overcome the various obstacles. The game has three difficulty modes and as you progress each level will generate accordingly with more or fewer obstacles. On the easiest level, you just find spikes and other traps, while in the most difficult ... you'll be lucky to last more than a few seconds. Among the configuration options, players can activate the ability to create levels where you can't go backwards, or scenes that rotate nonstop independently of your movements. In addition, you can change the color palette however you like, to add even more variety to the game. Remaddening is one of the most original and entertaining 'endless runner' games on PC. Furthermore, although it has a very simple graphics, all its elements together make it a strangely beautiful game.

Super Aerial Bros is a very simple arcade game where you control the flight Mario and Luigi as they soar through the Mushroom World's sky after being shot out of a cannon. Your goal is to go as far as possible while collecting as many coins as you can. Then, when you get to the end and Mario falls to the ground, you can post your score to the official website and compete against the rest of the players around the world. The problem is that you will run into all sorts of obstacles and enemies along the way. These range from plants that come out of the green pipes to flying toads. Everything that you encounter in your path, except coins or stars, will hurt you. And you only have three hearts before you fall to the ground. Super Aerial Bros is simple and fun, and it is ideal for short games. The best thing about it is that you can either play alone or with a friend on the same computer, as one of you controls Mario and the other, Luigi.

Charge! is a peculiar sort of game where the player has to try and get a hospital patient to go as far possible. But the patient needs constant electrical charges to survive. You have to make your way through the hospital corridor, going into some rooms and touching different machines that can give you the charges you need. Computers, lamps, telephones, photocopiers... any device is good for the boost you need. Your number one enemy in Charge! is time, since you lose after only a few seconds without a charge. Of course there are other obstacles that might kill the character, like the security guards, beds that go shooting down the hallway, and even an ambulance. Charge! is a fun game with really nice graphics, that lets you challenge other players with quick games. The object of the game is, of course, to earn as many points as possible.

Hold Fire

Hold Fire is a very simple game in which the players have to cover three exits, shooting constantly at anything that moves so that no monsters will escape through them. At the beginning of the game you have a poor-quality pistol, and you can't transport yourself to the upper or lower hallways, you're trapped in the central one. However, as you play the game you will be able to earn money to buy all sorts of improvements. The most important upgrades are those that allow you to move between hallways, which is vital to doing anything worthwhile. However, it's also a good idea to buy upgrades for your pistol, or even new weapons like a shotgun, which make things a lot easier. You will also find different scenes and characters in Hold Fire. In the first level you play an average guy in an office building, but in the second level you're a knight in a castle. Hold Fire is a fast-paced, very fun game where players rely on their reflexes to progress through the game.

The Chains of Poverty is a wild arcade game where you play as a chainsaw that needs to cut down everything it can in a theatre full of marionettes before it runs out of gas. If it sounds absurd, well... that's because it is. The game's crazy story drops you in a future where chainsaws have their own lives thanks to artificial intelligence, however laser technology has made them obsolete. Because of that, chainsaws live in poverty and must participate in depressing theatrical shows to get by. That's where Vroom, your protagonist, enters: it earns a living in these shows by cutting down as much as it can while dodging dangerous objects, like bombs and fruit, thrown by the audience. The more objects you can cut in a showing, the more money you'll earn to buy items for your house, which starts out with absolutely nothing. And as you buy furniture and other things, Vroom gains more abilities. The Chains of Poverty is an all-out absurd game that does nothing to mask its absurdity. It's fun to play, with graphics that recall the classic game The Binding of Isaac, which is never a bad thing.

Safari Showdown is a simple, two-dimensional arcade game where you have to try and take down all of the elephants you can before the giant animals crush the car you're fleeing in. The game mechanics are very simple: your Jeep is situated on the right side of the screen, and the elephants run from the left to the right. When an elephant touches your Jeep, you'll lose a heart, so you need to shoot them before they reach you. As would be expected, taking an elephant down requires several shots. However, you will occasionally see more powerful weapons floating around in the sky. If you shoot the weapons when they appear, you will be able to use them, making your job easier for a few seconds. The goal of Safari Showdown is to last as long as possible, which will only happen if you manage to kill all of the elephants within shooting range. Safari Showdown is a simple and fun arcade game that, in addition to having addictive game mechanics, has great graphics similar to those of games like Zookeeper.

FlappyFish is a simple arcade game inspired by Flappy Bird. In this game, you need to try to get as far as possible while passing between the different blocks scattered over each level. Unlike in the original Flappy Bird, in FlappyFish the blocks sometimes move or have different openings. Luckily, you won't just have a button for flying, but also one for pecking. That makes it easier to control your character. The best part about FlappyFish, aside from its addictive gameplay, is its awesome graphics. And you may notice that the game uses many of the same elements as Phil Fish's brilliant game Fez. FlappyFish is another Flappy Bird clone that came into being thanks to Flappy Jam, an independent video game festival in which many developers have created games to pay homage to Dong Nguyen's flappy sensation.

Another Bird is a clone of Flappy Bird in the style of Another World. Your job is to guide the eagle from Another World through a series of pillars, trying to get as far as you can. Gameplay in Another Bird is identical to that in Flappy Bird. That means that you need to press your space bar to make your eagle fly, maintaining a steady rhythm to that it can pass safely through the holes in each pipe. It sounds easy, but it's absolutely not. The only real difference between Another Bird and Flappy Bird is its visual design, which abandons the retro style of Flappy Bird for some polished graphics that recall Another World, a classic game from the 90s. Another Bird is a perfect Flappy Bird clone, with the same gameplay dressed up in much more attractive graphics.

Retry is a rather peculiar arcade game where you control a spaceship in the middle of the screen, shooting enemies coming at you from all directions. One of the most surprising things about Retry is that you don't have a fire button. Instead, the spaceship fires automatically as you aim at enemies. This means that if you carelessly move your focus around, you're probably going to miss. Because of this shooting system, you need to concentrate on control and accuracy. More than a couple of missed shots, and you'll find yourself swamped by enemy ships, ending the game. Your enemies will come in waves, and you'll be told each time one is over and a new one starts. Each new wave will incorporate more and more difficult enemies, beginning with normal ones, then some moving in circles, some turning invisible, and so on. Retry is an arcade game with a very interesting twist, plus fun gameplay and outstanding graphics.

Flight To Pluto

Flight To Pluto is a game based on the 1988 Delfox where your main mission is to fly through outer space getting rid of all the enemy ships that try to down your craft. To do it you've just got to brush up on your marksmanship – and be fast so you don't run into anything. This version includes nine levels that get harder as you go along. Luckily, your weapons evolve progressively too so you don't get left behind. But you have to make smart use of them if you want to get very far. Besides working on your aim and speed, you've got to watch out for the asteroids that zoom into your path, especially once you make it into the atmospheres of the planets along the way, where the meteorite activity is greater. There are power-ups you can collect that help you boost your score so you can capture the top spot in the player ranking for Flight to Pluto.

Knightmare Remake

Knightmare Remake is, as the name states, a remake of the classic game from 1986 developed by Konami. Players control the knight Popolon and try to rescue Afrodite from the claws of Knightmare, prince of darkness. The gameplay of Knightmare Remake is very similar to the more popular (though equally old) Gunsmoke: players control the main character, who, situated at the bottom of the screen, advances automatically in any direction. You need to dodge all enemy attacks and, at the same time, launch your own attacks against them. As you go through the game's different settings, you can pick up various weapons and enhancers. Popolon's default weapon is a bow and arrows, which don't do a great deal of damage nor are able to be fired in quick succession. But you can pick up weapons like swords, magic bows, and fire balls. Other enhancers will even let you freeze time for several seconds. Knightmare Remake retains the addictive, old-school gameplay of the classic Konami game from 1986, but adds new and delightful graphics. It's the perfect combination.

Dungeon Souls

Dungeon Souls is an arcade/roguelike similar to Nuclear Throne where you go deep into randomly generated dungeons full of enemies and deadly traps. No dungeon is the same as the previous one, although the one thing they all have in common is the same level of hellish difficulty. Before playing Dungeon Souls, you have to choose one of six playable characters, each with its own attributes, weapons, and powers. The archer, for example, can attack from a distance but is quite weak, while the knight can only perform melee attacks but is very strong. As you move through the different levels on Dungeon Souls, you can keep improving your character's attributes. You can also find lots of objects that add other effects to your character. To advance through the dungeons of the game, however, you'll need both skill and precision, because neither the traps nor the bad guys will make it easy. Dungeon Souls is an excellent game whose prime appeal is that it's reminiscent of Nuclear Throne. A real treat for all fans of the genre.

Although dungeon crawlers may not have as many fans as other genres, there are still plenty of people who love them. Egoboo is a game created over the course of several years by and for lovers of dungeon crawlers, and designed to be both simple and fun. Throughout the game's different settings, you'll find all kinds of enemies, from giant insects to hideous creatures that are a real bugger to kill. Combine your powers with those of your fellow players to survive by exploring, healing, and attacking. The difficulty will vary according to the role you choose in the adventure. Bit by bit, without realizing it, you'll discover the secrets of the corridors and rooms you visit. Are you willing to rise to the Egoboo challenge?

Maddening Relapse 2 is the sequel of the fun 2D endless runner titled, Remaddening (also available for download on Uptodown). Once again, here you have an infinite game full of obstacles that are generated randomly as you play. This time, the game comes with four different modes. Each mode generates scenarios with different obstacles depending on how you advance. In standard mode, you can play the basic game, whereas in pogo mode, for example, your character is constantly jumping. The controls in Maddening Relapse 2 are simple: with the directional buttons, you can run faster or slower, while you use the spacebar to jump. If you have an Xbox 360 controller (or something similar), you can use that to play the game instead. Maddening Relapse 2 is an original and fun endless runner, that also has spectacular graphics and a catchy soundtrack. It's a great option for playing short rounds (sometimes very, very short) whenever you want.

The Curse of Issyos is an arcade game that brings back the aesthetic and spirit of classic late-1980's games, such as Rygar and the Castlevania games for NES. This game offers an action and platform game set in Greek mythology, where you have to save your daughter from the clutches of Hades. The Curse of Issyos is made up of seven levels that can be completed in about 45 minutes. However, it hides enough secrets to keep you replaying it a few times, including a secret level that can completely change the ending. Although it might seem short, the number of scenarios, enemies, and weapons make it a fun experience that fans of classic gameplay will absolutely love. The inspiration for this game is obvious once you see all the typical creatures from the Wrath of the Titans and other animated movies with supernatural beings by Ray Harryhausen. Be on the look out for medusas, armed skeletons, and giant scorpions as you travel through pristine beaches, caves, and ancient ruins.

Cocotrap is a version of classic game Pac-Man, now in 3D! This time, the protagonist is a cube, although the ghosts have their same retro design. The gameplay hasn't changed from classic Pac-Man: the main character runs across the screen, collecting yellow circles and fruit while avoiding the ghosts chasing him... except when he eats a red ball! In that case, the tables are turned and the ghost are running away from Pac-Man, who temporary has the ability to eat them. Eat all the dots to win points and beat the level. CocoTrap adds a modern twist on the retro, pixelated design of Pac-Man, bringing a more current look to this classic game.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs Justice League is a fighting fangame developed with the MUGEN game engine. This time, you can compete in one-on-one battles featuring characters from these two unique universes. This game has twenty-two characters taken from both the worlds of DC Comics and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As well as the four famous turtles, this game also has other well-known characters from their universe such as April O'neil and Shredder. On the other hand, there are also popular characters from the DC universe, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even some villains like DarkSeid and Despero. Although this game has some original sprites and soundtracks, most of its content is taken from two popular 16-bit games: TNMT Tournament Fighters and Justice League Task Force. Although those games come from two different studios (Konami and Acclaim) the color palette has been mortified and integrated with the scenes to perfectly combine the two universes. As well as a classic arcade game mode, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs Justice League also has a local multiplayer mode, a training mode, and a special game mode in which you play as a random character.

Humanity Clicker is a fun clicker that puts you behind the tentacles of the sleeping Cthulhu. By clicking the screen to recruit more followers to join your cause and completing up to seven mini-games to increase the multiplier of followers, Humanity Clicker is a simple combination between Clicker and Idle Game with a Lovecraftian twist that's perfect to play in the background while you're doing something else. The gameplay in Humanity Clicker is identical to any other title in the genre: your score goes up little by little as time goes by, although you can increase its growth by clicking on the screen and by playing minigames; as you score grows, you can unlock improvements that will help you grow even faster, with the final objective of reaching the highest amount possible of cult members. Humanity Clicker also includes seven fun mini-games to pass the time while your followers multiply. These mini-games are themed versions of existing titles, although they're pretty well-executed and have a very interesting and polished feel. Humanity Clicker has numerous secrets and several easter eggs, something that encourages you to explore and experiment with its menus.

I had played the version for PocketPC but this PC version is even better, love it. Master Kick is a fun arcade football game with highly sophisticated AI plus numerous formations selection, that makes it to be very good, you can choose the number of players in each bar: 4-4-2, 3-5-2,... If you like table-soccer, you'll get addicted. You can play in a league or quick match and you will enjoy both the gameplay and the sounds.

Wobbly Bobbly

All was quiet in your small town. People were happy until one day, the jelly factory lost control and started creating thousands of cubes of jelly. Only you are capable of stopping the catastrophe at hand. Wobbly Bobbly is a Tetris-like game in which your mission is to destroy all the jelly cubes in a certain amount of time with your robot, which can move around the screen for better angles to shoot. Sometimes, it can be difficult to eliminate all the cubes in the time given, because there are also pieces of fruit placed to slow you down. With this premise in mind, Wobbly Bobbly combined aspects of Tetris and Puzzle Bobble to create an entertaining arcade game that will keep you hooked for quite some time.
