A 'demake' is doing exactly the opposite of a 'remake', i.e. giving a new game the appearance of an old one. And that's exactly what this project does with The Curse of Monkey Island, it gives it the appearance of the first game from the series. This way you can enjoy one of the best adventure games of the late nineties, with the look of a video game from the early nineties. This means that instead of getting graphics that are closer to cartoons than pixels, you will see the classic pixelated models which Lucas Arts used to enthral a whole generation of gamers. Graphics aside, this Curse of Monkey Island Classic Edition is identical to the original game: same dialogues, same puzzles and same situations. That is, a great game for the most nostalgic among you.

Astral Masters is an addictive card game in proper Magic: The Gathering style where you face off against numerous human and AI-controlled enemies in intense duels. The game gives you the option to either use randomly generated decks of cards and show off who's better at adapting to each situation, or put together your own decks with your favorite cards. (Note that both players have to agree which kind of deck to use beforehand.) Once the duel starts the gameplay is simple enough: you take turns laying down cards to do damage to your enemy, and she does the same thing. You've also got spells and special skills that consume mana –basically all the standard stuff for games like this. Astral Masters is a very fun title with an easy-to-learn but difficult-to-master gameplay that could well keep you hooked for hours ... if you're into TCGs, of course.

I Must Run! is a platform game along the lines of Robot Unicorn Attack or Canabalt, where you have to flee prison as fast as you can while jumping from rooftop to rooftop. The game's controls are pretty simple: you can perform single jumps and double jumps (to get further or dodge falling obstacles), punch, and slide along the ground. With these three simple actions, you can overcome the dozens of different obstacles infesting each phase of the game. Now, if you want to reach the end of each level, you'll have to be very good, because a single error can really cost you. I Must Run! is a fun, original title with highly addictive gameplay. It's ideal for killing time.

Last of the Patriots is an action and adventure game set in a future full of war, though it doesn't focus on the war itself. Rather, it's about the effects war has on those who fight it. You'll control Sergeant Johnson, a man who loses his entire team in an emergency landing for a routine mission. After that, you'll see how he reacts to the enemy and learn the background of his story in a flashback. Your goal during the game, then, is to help Johnson survive his complicated life as a military man, facing real problems such as alcoholism and a lack of self-esteem. Of course, you'll also have to shoot from time to time in order to survive, but that's neither the main nor the most important part. Last of the Patriots is a very special game. Despite its lackluster graphics, it has a great story and a much more interesting message than your average war game.

We will be able to do all the usual movements and punches to this kind of game, as well as super blows that will require filling a bar with energy. Street Fighter SNK is a two dimensional fighting game that offers traditional controls and mechanics as entertaining as the most popular games from franchises as Capcom and SNK.

Ghost n Goblins is a game that was released 20 years ago but it is one of those games that you always want to play. You only need a glance and you will remember all those hours you were stuck to your old computer controlling the knight Sir Arthur, defeating zombies and demons to save the princess. On your way towards the princess you will collect weapons, power ups and new armors. It is easy to pass the first levels but as long as you pass more levels it becomes more and more difficult. It is great! First released for NES, now you can play Ghost n Goblins on your PC with no problem.

Golden Axe Myths is a remake of Golden Axe, the classic action game for arcades and 16-bit consoles. You can choose from four different characters, each with unique abilities and specific weapons. You can even play with several friends on one single computer. A dwarf, an Amazon, and two warriors are the characters that can take you to glory. Both the gameplay and the enemies are very similar to the original game. You can do normal attacks, jump, use magic, and fight ruffians of all shapes, sizes, and colors. From soldiers with hammers to giants wearing heavy armor ... they're all there. The graphics are quite different on this remake. The character models have a cartoon-like aesthetic that is really well done, but doesn't match the general violence in the game. Golden Axe Myths is a really fun game that offers lots of hours of entertainment, as well as a gameplay that never goes out of fashion.

Chrono Killer is a beat'em up where players control all the legendary Chrono Trigger characters, along with a few guest stars, to prevent the world from coming to an end – again. As in the original Chrono Trigger, players travel to different historical periods: pre-history, the Middle Ages, the present, the future, and others. In each of these scenarios, you'll obviously find enemies fitting in with the period. Each of the characters you can control has both normal and special attacks. So while Chrono uses his katana, Marle will use his powerful crossbow, and Luca her characteristic pistol. They all also have a special magic attack capable of sweeping the screen of enemies. The guests characters are a bit strange. Chrono, Magus, and company are joined by no less than Trunks and Samurai Jack, two charismatic characters who'll also cause havoc among the enemy with their swords. Chrono Killer is a fun arcade beat'em up that will especially appeal to fans of Chrono Trigger, one of the most beloved RPGs of the 16-bit era.

Pimps Vs Vampires is an amusing action and role-playing game that, even if it doesn't have much to show off technically, offers tons of fun thanks to its unique concept and a very addicting gameplay.

The gameplay in Papercoaster is divided into two very different parts. You not only move through the setting, but also slide, do double jumps, and even glide in the air for a few seconds. The Rise of Magus is quite a fun action platformer. Fans of Chrono Trigger will particularly like it, since it shares characters, locations, and plenty of enemies with that original title.

To wake the man in the doorway, you'll have to dive into a story full of absurd characters and dialog in the purest 90s graphic adventure style. The whole adventure develops from one location. You'll have to talk to different characters, collect some objects, and of course solve a few puzzles. For example, a girl who is eating potatoes will only give you one of them if you give her some salt first. Since the adventure is only in that one scene, it's relatively short - about 20 minutes of gameplay. Still, it offers up more than one laugh thanks to some great dialog, like the one with the spacey assassin. Awakener is a traditional graphic adventure, with traditional graphics, traditional gameplay, and a traditional sense of humor.
