Deadly Sin is an RPG similar to the great Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo classics. In it you live the adventure of Lorelei, a humble young girl who one day discovers she's the heir to a powerful empire. The gameplay is reminiscent of classic games like Final Fantasy and Lufia. It doesn't feel like an actually old game, though, thanks in part to the ability to deactivate automatic encounters and to the more dynamic turn-based battles. Deadly Sin lasts approximately 30 hours and features a professional soundtrack recorded exclusively for this game as well as an exquisite character design with an anime style. Deadly Sin is a highly entertaining RPG. Anyone who enjoyed playing Final Fantasy VI, Lufia, or Chrono Trigger back in the day will definitely love it.

Pixel Piracy is a combination of strategy, simulation, and roguelike games in 2D where players control the captain of a pirate ship, who has to perform all the duties befitting that post. The main source of income for your characters comes from selling on the street (hence the name of the game), but you will soon discover that the permits necessary for this are not exactly cheap. It is the player's choice to decide whether it is worth the risk of selling unlicensed. Among the details to consider when your avatar looks for work, is the buying habits of customers and the type of customers you will be serving. Some of them drop succulent tips and we must know how to win. Cart Life is a reflective management game with lots of depth, which has won numerous awards at independent festivals. And for good reason. You are faced with a different experience that everyone should try.

It is a remake that has preserved all of the original gameplay elements, while changing the graphics. Throughout your adventure, Fred will have to go through several screens in which he will have to jump, run, dive, throw rocks, and be in direct combat with various enemies. The best thing about Sir Fred the Remake, is that the game is totally random, so you will never play the same game twice and you can complete it in several different ways. Sir Fred the Remake is an great revision of an excellent game. One of the most treasured jewels from the golden age of Spanish software, and you can conveniently enjoy it for free on your computer.

The Reconstruction is a traditional turn-based combat role-playing game in which you head up a group of more than a dozen adventurers who form the crew of a pirate ship. The adventure begins on board that ship, but it won't be long before you're exploring to the limits of the outer world. In fact, as you recruit new characters for your group of heroes, you'll start to discover a story that includes everything up to minor gods. The attributes of the characters in your group are not modeled in typical RPG fashion. In place of force, agility, health, magic, etc., you'll be using values such as body, mind, and soul. These are the attributes that can be improved with experience and that, eventually, will help you defeat your most powerful enemies. Combat itself does follow a more traditional style: you'll need to move your units over a grid and give orders so that they can overcome their adversaries, which will typically outnumber your crew. The Reconstruction is a traditional role-playing game with a significant amount of gameplay (more than 20 hours) made with rather outdated graphics. In any case, it's an outstanding title that introduces many intriguing concepts into the RPG genre.

Sportz Daze is a sports game where you have to use young campers to participate in a competition at a summer camp. The gameplay is very similar to the legendary 'Track and Field': you'll have to get through the competition one test at a time, but if you lose even once, the game's up. To get through most of the tests, such as the sprinting or swimming test, just alternate pressing two buttons very quickly. To pass other tests, though, like throwing a tennis ball or shooting slingshots, you'll have to use more buttons and skill. Sportz Daze is a fun sports game that pays homage to the classic 'Track and Field' with a virtually identically gameplay as well as super fun graphics.

Burn and Turn is an arcade game set in a medieval world full of spells, knights stuffed into armours, walking skeletons and fire-breathing dragons, in which you will have to take on the role of the last of all of these and put an end to all of the others. The game's setup is very simple: your dragon finds himself protecting a tower at the right of the screen, and all kinds of enemies will appear on the left side of the screen trying to get to him. So, your goal will be to incinerate all those who try to get close to the tower, using the fireballs that the dragon can launch. The more that you are able to resist, not only will more (and stronger) enemies appear, but you will also be able to get upgrades for your dragon's fireballs. So, thanks to the sorcerers and merchants that you are also able to kill, you can get double fireballs... and even a type of ray gun. Burn and Turn is a frenetic action game which is ideal for playing fast games of no more than ten minutes. Its rough graphics, which clearly pay homage to 8 bit games, are more than compensated for by a gameplay that provides straight-up fun for anyone who is able to look past its pixels.

That's right, up to ten players can be jumping and throwing colored balls at the same time in the game's 100+ levels... Although, like the original game, it's best not to exceed two players. The controls in The Bub's Brothers are so simple that you can customize them right before playing. Use the mouse to choose the color of dragon you want and, once you click on it, you just have to tap which direction keys you want to use and which button you want to use to shoot balls. The game will automatically begin once you've done this. One of the most fun parts of The Bub's Brothers is that you have complete freedom when it comes to customizing the game. Not only can you play alone or with other players, but you can choose which level you want to start at (1, by default) or the number of lives you want to have. Like this, you can adjust the game's difficulty to your abilities. One big difference between The Bub's Brothers and the original Bubble Bobble is the large number of power-ups that can be found in the levels while you play. In the original, you could eat a load of fruit to get more points, and that was it. But here, you can eat loads of foods that will give you all kinds of fun boosters throughout the game. There are dozens of new power-ups waiting to be discovered. The Bub's Brothers is a more fun way of enjoying the classic Bubble Bobble on modern computers. Not only can it be easily played on any version of modern Windows, but also online with other players from around the world.

Magical Gloves is a funny mix of platforms and puzzle game in which we'll control Mia Handwrite, an intrepid girl who is trying to take back all the pages of the Golden Booke and rescue his little brother from the hands of the Wizard of the Books. During the game we'll be able to catch next to all objects thanks to the magical glove. We'll control it using the mouse and we'll be able to throw items towards enemies or use it to solve puzzles. The game is quite long and is composed by 16 missions divided in three different worlds in which we'll be able to show off our skills. Magical Gloves is an amusing game, developed in Spain by only one person and has won many prizes all around the world. It's worth a try.

Lunacity is a game that mixes elements of adventure and role to offer a story set in a futuristic city where the main character, a detective named Jia, must solve a homicide committed in the city center. During the adventure, Jia will have to deal with lots of other problems besides the murder. Along the way, for example, you'll encounter other delinquents you'll have to deal with using your flying motorcycle and regulation pistol. As you pursue the criminals, you have to shoot at them while avoiding the different obstacles that get in your way, like cones or fences. You can also pick up valuable objects along the way in order to get some 'overtime' pay. This extra money will be very useful to buy objects and upgrades for your protagonist in some of Lunacity's shops. Better weapons, better parts for the motorcycle, or social upgrades for Jia. Lunacity is a 2D adventure RPG with an interesting story starring an interesting character. The setting, very similar to classics like Tex Murphy, is spot-on and a proper novelty within the genre.

The Night Before Christmas is a simple, entertaining platform game where the players control Santa Claus, whose mission is to deliver all of the Christmas presents to the children that have been good. The players have to collect the gifts scattered around the scene and take them to the Christmas tree. On the way, they have to pick up milk and cookies to replenish their energy and send all of the children who are awake back to bed. The fun thing is how you send the children back to bed: using a taser. You have to shoot them with your ray gun to make them go back to bed quickly, because if not they could discover you and end the game. In each of the levels you have to leave more and more gifts. At first you only have to deliver four gifts, but it won't take long before you have to deliver many more while you struggle with half a dozen kids. The Night Before Christmas is a fun platform game that gives you the chance to walk around in Santa Claus's boots for a few minutes. You never would have expected Santa Claus to carry a ray gun... but he does.

Madness Reloaded is a two-player game where you and a friend each control your own warrior robot with the sole aim of killing each other. To help you, you have a huge collection of weapons available, including muskets, missile launchers, machine guns, and shotguns. You also have a jetpack that lets you fly short distances and avoid obstacles. Plus, you'll find some settings full of surprises like trampolines and teleporters. Both players can play using the same keyboard, one on the left and one on the right. The controls are pretty simple, since you just need to use a few keys along with the arrow buttons (WASD if you're on the left). Madness Reloaded is a really fun game for two players. Its 11 different phases and two different game modes guarantee hours and hours of fun for you and a friend on the same computer.

Hide is a first person adventure horror game where players control a character who is running from another mysterious character. At no point do you find out why you have to run, nor who you are running from, all you know is that if you reach the end it will all be over. Your goal, as in the main title of the Slender games, is to find five different elements scattered throughout the snowy forest. These can be found literally anywhere: in the facade of a lonely house, on a rock, a tree, etc. The best thing about Hide is the audio. It can fill you with more fear that any other game in the genre just by using its minimal score and powerful sound effects. Then when you add in the a retro visuals, the result is a truly frightening adventure. Hide is a truly scary adventure with lots traditional elements, and while there is nothing really innovative as far as the gameplay is concerned, it does manage to create a really scary environment with a technical level that is actually far more advanced than it may initially appear.

Your character has access to a revolutionary technology that lets him change his voice whenever he wants, but he needs to use an old landline phone to get the information he's looking for. You have to investigate the office to find clues about whom to call, then use the numeric keypad to manually enter the phone numbers. Once you're on the phone with someone, you have to decide what to say. It's also important to first choose the voice you want to use, since you can only get certain information if you choose the right voice. Supercontinent Ltd is an outstanding graphic adventure with an awesome atmosphere, an entertaining story, and some really original puzzles. Yet another fantastic game from Deconstructeam, developers of the no less brilliant Gods Will Be Watching.

The original title came out back in 1992 for MS-DOS, so not only does it have serious compatibility problems on modern computers, but as usual, the native resolution of the game is very, very low. This remake will allow you to solve all that and much more instantly. Running Dune II - The Maker is as simple as unzipping the zipped file to any folder and double-clicking on the executable. Thus, without the need for installation, you can play on full screen with the native resolution you have set. You will not need anything else. Everything you need to enjoy the game is already inside the download. In Dune II - The Maker, you will have two different game modes at your disposal. On the one hand, in the campaign mode, you will have to complete the various missions that comprise the game's main adventure and follow (more or less) the book's story. On the other hand, you find the skirmish mode, where you can choose one of the many settings available and face the AI. Dune II - The Maker is a great way to enjoy one of the great real-time strategy games. Thanks to this version, you will not have any compatibility or resolution problems, or anything like that. Playing it will be as simple as unzipping and clicking.

The adventure begins when a bully comes into the patio where our hero is playing soccer and destroys his soccer ball, since the bum doesn't have anything that the bully can steal. As soon as this happens, your goal is to find a new ball and get revenge on the evil bully. The Bum's mechanics are identical to the traditional 'point and click' graphic adventures. You can look at objects, pick them up, talk to people and, of course, solve puzzles using all of the elements that you find in the scenes. During your adventure, you can visit more than half a dozen scenes where you will find a good handful of fun characters that you can talk to. Or, rather, that your sock can talk to. The Bum is a very fun graphic adventure that nods its head to other video games and the world of soccer, among other things. In addition, it has excellent aesthetics that will remind you of the best graphic adventures from the nineties.
