Its initial goal was to expand the story, add more enemies and objects, and ultimately create a more solid experience. In Angband, players will have dozens of different possibilities when creating their character, a process that can carry on for longer than usual due to its complexity. Once you have the character, you'll encounter most of the usual standards of the genre. An element that noticeably differentiates Angband from most of the genres’ alternatives is that it allows you to, with a simple click, change the game's graphics. Final Fantasy XIV, the new multiplayer RPG from Square Enix's hand, is just around the corner and because of their stunning graphics and high technical requirements they have been more than a nervous, and have decided to launch a 'benchmark' with which to see firsthand if we can play. What does this mean? The first and most important is that the download is not a playable demo, but quite the opposite. This is a non-playable demo where you can see images of Final Fantasy XIV on the move rendered by your own computer to obtain the final results with the rate of obtained frame. So if you're planning on playing for the new Square Enix or you're a true fan of the Final Fantasy series, check whether you need to upgrade your computer or if you can use this great new MMORPG on what you already have.

Monster 2 is a Super Nintendo-style RPG boasting an excellent and original story with a gameplay and combat system that will be familiar to anyone who's played this genre before. The story puts you in the shoes of Eny, an ordinary girl who, overnight, finds herself in an incredible story full of magic, fantastical creatures, and thrilling action. The fighting, as in most RPGs from the 90s, is turn-based, meaning you have time to think and choose your actions before attacking, casting a spell, or defending yourself. The graphics in Monster 2 are probably its biggest drawback, but they're also a clear homage to Super Nintendo. And while today it might seem pretty outdated, it's still kind of charming. Monster 2 is a fun game. If you like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, or Persona, you'll love this game.

In this case ZhyperMU is based on the book 'The lost Continent of MU' by James Churchward. In ZHyperMU we have to choose a character and built it up throughout different levels. Level up you r character and meet new people. You can choose a Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf or Summoner. Once you'll have level up one of these, you'll be able to choose two more ones: Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord. Your goal is to reach a maximum level for your character and interact with other players. Choose wheter to fight against them or with them.

Desktop Dungeons is a simple dungeon crawler in which you will delve into hundreds of randomly generated dungeons to loot them while avoiding numerous enemies which inhabit them from finishing you off. Even though gameplay has a lot to do with the more traditional RPG's in which you simply have to kill off enemies in order to go up levels, it also has some puzzle elements that turn it into a completely different experience. Every time you move to a tile which you've never stepped on before you recover manna and life, so knowing where and when to move proves fundamental in some levels. This explains why the game is, at times, reminiscent of a great puzzle with magicians, animals, bad guys and swords. Desktop Dungeons is a very entertaining game which, in spite of having very simple graphics, is extremely addictive. Hours and hours of fun for fans of the genre.

Deadly Sin is an RPG similar to the great Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo classics. In it you live the adventure of Lorelei, a humble young girl who one day discovers she's the heir to a powerful empire. The gameplay is reminiscent of classic games like Final Fantasy and Lufia. It doesn't feel like an actually old game, though, thanks in part to the ability to deactivate automatic encounters and to the more dynamic turn-based battles. Deadly Sin lasts approximately 30 hours and features a professional soundtrack recorded exclusively for this game as well as an exquisite character design with an anime style. Deadly Sin is a highly entertaining RPG. Anyone who enjoyed playing Final Fantasy VI, Lufia, or Chrono Trigger back in the day will definitely love it.

Like in the Final Fantasy saga, Deadly Sin 2 has nothing to do with its predecessor. In other words, it's a completely independent adventure, and you'll be controlling a new protagonist. His name is Carrion, and this time, instead of a beautiful and fragile lady, he is a hard warrior and his objective is to rescue the kidnapped heir to the throne. To do that, you can count on the help of different friends who will assist you during combat. The game offers thirty hours of adventure in which you'll live through all of the genre's typical situations: from tense moments and close brushes with death, to romance and fun diversions. Deadly Sin 2 is an entertaining title that, even if it's not quite up to par with the first game in some aspects, still holds steady as an excellent game.

The main mission of the game, in addition to the more than one hundred smaller missions to complete and five hundred locations to visit, offers eighty hours of playing time in the classic Final Fantasy playing style. The battles in this game, as is habitual for games of this type, occur one after the other, so that you can think deliberately about your movements and develop the best strategies possible. Laxius Force is an entertaining game that, despite having an average character design, manages to keep you hooked for hours.

To play, you participate in a tournament in which you face all kinds of enemies. These battles are fun – the best part of the game, actually. That's because in order to defeat the enemies and gain access to over 100 unlockable items, you have to be clever enough to find the right strategy to defeat each one. A House of Champions is a fun RPG with a very direct gameplay that's sure to entertain you for hours.

First of all you'll have to create your four characters by customizing them, then, start the game and enjoy. Blades of Avernum is a title that may dislike you at first sight due to its old look, but the story within it can trap RPG lovers.

Immortal Souls - John Turner is an RPG with a comic book aesthetic where you play John Turner, a young vampire who wants to do good and save people. This will eventually cause problems between him and other members of his species. The game lets you equip your protagonist with dozens of objects to improve your abilities in duels, which are turn-based and mix the classic, deliberate style of Final Fantasy with a twist similar to Puzzle Quest. This first part of the adventure (the second part is expected to be released in mid-2011) is composed of 14 chapters where you'll have to destroy dozens of enemies, win loads of trophies, and meet many interesting characters. Immortal Souls - John Turner is an entertaining game with a spot-on aesthetic that fans of RPG games are sure to enjoy.
